That was so kind of them to bring her back and what a 960 - beautiful. Hope you are doing well and I bet the little one has shot up - nice to see the old vid clips.
Not gping to lie, I felt very emotional watching this. Not only is that 960 stunning and it hit a massive milestone, but seeing the old footage and finally being reunited with Elsa. She is my favourite by far on the Involvo'd fleet. What a great video and good to see content again. Wish you a very happy and upwards 2025 fella.
That 960 is absolutely wonderful. I’ve had experience of its follow-up, the short lived V90 - an old boss owned one and I regularly borrowed it for site visits. What a car! I’ve driven and owned all sorts over the years - BMW, Audi, SAAB, Mercedes and Alfa Romeos, but that V90 was possibly the best car I’ve driven. In sport mode the kick down and performance was silky smooth, and it was surprisingly nimble on a twisty road. The only other car I can compare to it was a ‘94 Scorpio 2.9 auto, which also had a cosseting ride and a really comfy interior - something that modern, and especially German cars seem to miss these days.
Wow. What a great video! Just as I was wondering why there weren't recent upload since you restarted the channel.....now I understand. Very good, thanks!
Little emotional for you mate when I see you and Mrs. Involvo'd.....The same car was part of my divorce also, that's weird...the exact same one as I mentioned to you before...(already with the double headlights here in Vancouver).....Good to see you moving on, and to have friends like that...1million kms, that is awesome, and it looks wonderful still......VOLVO for life...I was thinking of getting into a Mercedes wagon as I viewed this amazing one down here while in California....then I woke up. My 04 189,000 km XC70 is going nowhere....All the best for 2025....
Surprisingly it was …indeed 🤣 I was sure to be well prepared but the the lady at the gate ( or first barrier ) told me the opposite and cost us an additional stay in France
Cool video, i am currently restoring an old 240 with all its problems 😢 It would be cool to have a garage in Germany which knows everything about these old Volvo cars 😊
Wonderful video Sledge! I have so many questions for Hauke! I own a 1997 960 wagon/estate (Emerald Green) with only 10% of the mileage of this lovely example. I would never have thought an automatic 960 could tow a 740 wagon halfway across Europe! I would love to start towing projects home with my 960, as I have passed on a few non running 240's as the expense of hiring a truck and trailer made it prohibitive. Hauke, have you made any modifications to your 960 outside of the trailer hitch to make towing large loads possible? I already have a hitch installed from the previous owner but am planning on adding an auxiliary transmission cooler. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated. Where can I buy a strut tower brace like the one on your 960? Thanks for helping out the channel and bringing Elsa back.
OMG it’s finally online 😍 thank you soooo much for that unforgettable adventure 🥰🥰🥰 it was a pleasure to meet you in person and get Elsa back home 🤗
Nice rig, guy.

That 960 estate is gorgeous

Absolute heroes! And that 960 looks great with that rims. 1M km it's brutal.

Awesome road trip
Crackin update , Good to have you "home" even if you are technically a foreigner" South of Gretna"🤣 Did we catch you havn a wee moment at the end. 👍
I was not expecting to see that dog, bringing a dog into UK is more complicated than bringing a Volvo!
Surprisingly it was …indeed 🤣 I was sure to be well prepared but the the lady at the gate ( or first barrier ) told me the opposite and cost us an additional stay in France

My ‘88 240DL is that colour, called Glacier Blue.
Next Volvo 960 to your garage or 850 love watching your videos
Glad you’ve been reunited with Elsa. Those shots outside the German garages go right back! that 960 sits really nicely on those C70 BBS wheels too
Thanks a lot mate ! Brought them brand new in 2010 and never regretted it 😊
How did that speedo roll over when it was showing NO speed, unlike in the previous night footage?
