This video is much better than the previous ones with the more in depth explanations and technical advise. I wish your Spoon springs install video was like this, more technical and less banter but thats just me 😊

Hey VCD, I appreciate your thoroughness on covering the steps of the install! I recently purchased my Spoon Progressive springs for my FL5 and was wondering if you purchased the rigid collars directly through SpoonUSA?
You don't feel anything. What they do is keep the subframes from shifting around under high loads. If the subframe shifts, it can impact the wheel alignment. But really not a concern unless you are pushing the car to the absolute limits.

Great video, covering the steps, and some of the difference with the R.
Glad it was helpful!
Looking good!
Imma call yall to do it on my DE5 😂

Luis was getting a little too friendly with those holes on the FL5☺️

We did purchase from Spoon USA
Are they aluminum? I ended up shearing a bunch of aluminum rigid collars on my RSX, wish I would have used hardened steel collars.
Would you recommend doing this while installing coils/springs since the subframe has to be lowered anyway?
I would agree with that...
Why would you drop subframe for coilovers?
What is the benefit of installing the rigid collars? What did you feel on the test drive?
