best tree painting tutorial ever! I love that you said "don't be afraid to paint more onto your first layer even if you like it as is; you will gain confidence." Terrific advice and so true! Thank you for a great video 🖌😊🎨
I was talking to a painter and he said when he was at art school one exercise they did was to "break' the painting. That is to keep on adding to it until it no longer worked. This exercise was about what you are talking about here. People being to tentative to keep on going because they like what they have and don't want to spoil it. But without going too far occasionally you don't ever know how far is enough. Thank you Nitin. I have learned to dab the brush on some absorbent material to take off the excess medium and get the dry scrapping effect, clever.
Thank you so much, other artists seem to make trees so complicated. After practicing many trees, I am now pleased with them. This is the best tree tutorial ever. Thank you
Hello Nitin, I'm interested in your palette. I picked out burnt sienna, ultramarine blue, yellow ocre and sap green. Would you share what the othe colours in your palette are please? (Cotman or Windsor newton?..).. many thanks.
2nd layer is hardest on any watercolor! First layer easy and final details easy but second layer is unexpectedly difficult. This is correct though - you should do alot of practice on 2nd layer.
Trying to practice painting DARKER! Great helpful video! And I love how happy you are. Makes the class so enjoyable!
