I just started the video and had to pause for a moment and remembered why I love your channel. There are only two genders.
When he said that , I wanted to leave.
I came to see if I could get any ideas or things I missed on my swap, it was my first Cummins.
I couldn't care less what he thinks about genders.
It's something I never in my sixty some years thought or had to think about something that doesn't effect the way my truck runs.

Looks good. Should call it the orange crush. Might have to leave sk. And swing into ab when my oldsmobile diesel delete it done and dialed in. Just need a hanger bearing crossmember and ill be driving it.

It will take an adapter plate. Would be much easier to use the Dodge NV 4500
my cummings is a 97' and the NV4500 is 99' I've heard a dodge bellhousing should mount up directly? Is this a thing? @@samstrucks

What did you do for your oil pressure sensor? 😄 If you covered it in a video lemme know which one. When people ask me how I did it when I'm done I'll definitely tell them with your videos haha.
Just plugged the Chevy sender into the cummins port under the injection pump

What transmission did you use
My summit mounts tilted my motor to the passenger side slightly. Not sure why.
They didn’t tell your motor, the rubber insulators on the frame side are what would’ve done that. In an early video I explained how to modify them to keep that from happening. You can actually fix that problem even with the engine still in the truck but you will have to have the engine lift it up so that the wait is off the rubber mounts for a few days
I put in new poly mounts at the time too.

Got an 97 5.9 and 5 speed. Putting it in an 85 wester hauler crew cab, will i need to just get the different ujoint for the trans yoke to driveshaft or will it need to be shortended or lengthened?
You’ll have to install and see. But for sure you will need a conversion U joint if not custom driveshaft
Whatever you do do not cheap out on the driveshaft. Get it built and balanced by legitimate driveline shop or else you will regret it
How did you mount the radiator and inner cooler
No intercooler
I am dropping a Cummins in my 88 square crew cab. It’s 2WD automatic. Do you think I will have to adjust firewall any? I plan on using the summit racing mounts. I know I will have to address transmission tunnel. I can’t remember if you said anything about it in other videos.

Does the mechanical fan fit using the summit motor mounts?
With some core support mods it will. But not without cutting
but if you swap a 2wd truck and use a 47re transmission instead of a standard......it should clear the original hump right? I'm converting a 3/4 ton suburban to a 12 valve but I'm going auto and using the dodge ECM and harness with a 47re.

Nobody on UA-cam does the complete conversion only bits and pieces example the fuel tank what did you have to do? Did you have to box the frame I’ve got a 1966 C 20 Chev stepside I want to put first GEN Cummings in do you think I have to change the crossmember to a suburban crossmember in order to get the motor mounts to fit? Should be fairly easy I have no. AC or power brakes lots of room run electric fans…. Any help would be appreciated. Love the video. and you’re absolutely right. Keep the wiring simple and neat. Great build
