- There was something under this rock so I started digging and whoa !
Metal detecting relic hunting this old cellar hole that is all that is left of this deserted New England farm looking for old stuff buried in the ground. I was working along the rock walls with two different metal detectors today with different size coils to see what I could find. I got a signal with the small Fisher 5 inch coil and started digging. Well what I found was not only made of brass but it still was connected to wood......Holy crap it has to be from the 1800s at the least and amazing the wood has lasted this long in the ground. Dug some more and found the other half, wait til you see this. Metal detecting old abandoned places like this you never know what your going to find.

Thanks everyone for making me feel welcomed back.. your all so kind. much love always.. ~Ninjen 🩷
Amazing save. One of the nicest ones I have ever seen. Way to go. It's nice to hear Jen still detects.
that hinge had a phillips screw in it. They weren't invented until the 1930's. It is beautiful. Glad that Jennifer is back on site again.
Yup. Philips head screws and intact wood. Definitely a more recent item. Mid 20th century id guess. I'll bet someone stashed a box under the rock some decades ago. Likely completely unrelated to the much earlier items in the area
@@krockpotbroccoli65 Must have been something really important they wanted to hide. I'd probably go and tear the wall apart looking for it. lol
@user-pl2ec2eq3y Or just some 60s hippie hiding his stash. That level of wood deterioration looks consistent with having been buried about 60 years.
I was about to comment the same thing .Phillips were used until after the 1930’s
Cool display piece Charlie! Great to see you and Jen out together again. Really miss the group digs followed by some shack fun with you and the gang. Good times!
I miss that too! And the spoon toss. But I love these guys, only metal detector guys I watch.
Great to hear Jen back. 💖
Good to hear Jen’s voice again. Miss hearing and seeing her. You two find awesome things together. Congratulations on your finds. Sorry about the doo-doo.😂
I noticed that I was dropped off your channel. Glad that Jen is back. I will love to be with you again. I want to see your new discoveries, so I will close so I can watch.550 TX
Dueling detectors and the dulcet tones of Jennifer. DC latches onto a latch that's spectacular and Miss J gets a colonial yo-yo. That's a great way to start the week of Not Thursday.
I would try to save the wood by soaking in resin. So cool to find something old still in its intended state. Also cool the see Jen!!
Good to hear Jennifer out hunting with you amazing how places keep giving it up!
Jen!!! I've been going back and watching old videos where she was present more often and was hoping she was doing well.
Nice to hear her voice! 👋
It was so lovey to hear Jen in the background and see her finds, it's been ages. Great little lock.
I’m intrigued by all of the things you find in all of your videos on each channel! Very informative on all aspects of the relics! One question with all due respect, I miss your friend Keebs. Is he still detecting with you? Thanks
Awesome finds! Congrats you two!
It was so nice to hear Jennifer's voice and see her hand (LOL)! I was wondering where she was. Great episode!!
Man what a great day. Nice to see and hear Jennifer. That tiny latch was a great find. Plus Mission Accomplished and so much more. Thanks for the video😊
It looks like there are phillips heads sticking out of the box parts. Fantastic finds all around👍👍
Always to see Jen in a video.
Very nice finds,Charlie!
Jen,Jen. Hooray! Well that ends the rumour hat Charlie had her buried in the basement! Now we just need to know if Lou the cat is still with us. More Ninjen!!!!!
Awesome hunt and finds!
Awesome finds. Small trunk maybe? Thanks for sharing!!!
It's so good to hear you Jennifer!!! It's been a long time!!! Very Very Nice Finds today!!! Thank you for sharing it all with us!!! God Bless Us All!!!
Great job Jen ❤
Nice finds (especially buttons) drawer pull and clasp no older than 1937, as I've mentioned before, that was first use of phillips head screws, which both pieces seemed to employ in their designs, that is, if I am seeing correctly.
Good to see you Jen, I hope you are doing well. That little coil is sweet!
I would have never expected that to come out of the ground. Awesome!
Awesome hunt guys!! Hi Jen!!
Very nice video. TYVM. . . .
Great job on finding history
Thank you Charlie and Jennifer for the adventure and seeing some amazing finds !
Hi Charlie, Hi Jennifer, great to have you both on this Not Thursday. Excellent finds today. Very cool. Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸
The latch & drawer pull with the wood on it has Phillip's Head screws, which weren't invented until the mid-1930's.
That is sooooo cooooool!!!!
The 45-70 cartridge you found may have a date stamp from the 1870s-1880s
Great job and great to hear nin-jens voice.hope to see the stealth shack on video again... and would love to dig with y'all. And be a guest on SD's. Just like y'all did in the past
Nice to have Nin-Jen make an appearance
That's pretty kool!
Great to see Jennifer out with you!
Nice finds! Thanks for sharing.
Great find on the box. Glad to hear Jen is out detecting with you.
Hello Jen, great to see you out with Charlie. How are you? Good digs. Take care ❤
Awesome day
No disrespect to the coin shooters, but that hardware stopped the show! I wish it could be shown to an Early American furniture expert. The eagle might just mean something over and above decoration. Jen, it was SO nice to have you in the upload today; please come back soon.
Enjoyed 👍
Yay! So great to see you digging again Nin-Jen ! Woo hoo! Amazing handled escutcheon with clasp Charlie! So cool!
Jen!!!
Awesome finds!
What a great find there!!
Very cool latch,
Just one thing ! The real treasure is finding the old privies ! And you need a probe for that
Some awesome finds, especially the drawer pull with the other part to it. And it's great to see Jennifer back out with you!
well the fact there's wood remnants and the phillips type screws, I'd say maybe between 1940's to fifties. little case for something special, I'm sure
WOW!
Can't be too old, the hinge has phillips screw heads in it.
Thanks for the video Charlie keep them coming. You guys are my favorite Detecting couple.❤
It is nice to see ningen in the field again
💥@8:00 Small button next to the wrist bone. Must be a cuff button.
Nice to see and hear Jennifer, great hunt.
...maybe that is part of a treasure box buried under that rock?😃...
Cool to see NinJen.
The small box pats were interesting, definitely sift that area out
What a beautiful match just like you two!
Freakin crazy cool find with that drawer. Pull and latch. Wow on the awesomeness
Was that fancy item you found under the rock a hinge or was it a hasp?
That latch is amazing!!
I've missed Jen-
That bag was probably somebodies dead pet..Phillips head screws weren’t used until late 1930’s ,40’s ..
Definitely an eagle. Nice fine, I put that back to use if possible.
Pretty cool find
Can you find out what the type of wood is the latch attached to? Might help figure out box or furniture?
!! NEWS FLASH !! Phillips head screws are not extreamly old, all I can say is your husband must have a real good paying job!
Assuming the spoon was straight when it was dropped, how did it get so bent?
Hello Charlie 😊
Ever get creap'd out when you find numerous buttons ? The 1st thing I imagine is a GRAVE.... yikes
I wonder if someone had a lot of money and put it in a box and then they lost it so they buried it in their yard.
Charlie could that handle at time marker 13:43 be for a jewelry box and a drawer pull ? I ask because that first item looked like a catch for a jewelry box ! Some child hiding they treasure in the box and forgot about it !
Excelente amigo, saludos cordiales desde chile 🙋♂️🇨🇱⛏️🗝️🗡️💍😊👍💪🤜🤛👏🙏
A latch to a treasure chest. Lol.
❤❤❤❤❤😊
Part of the long lost confederate treasurery that jefferson davis had on him as he tried to escape after the civil war! Old treasure chest/box! Lol probably a little bit of a stretch but i like the idea of it lol
