Yes, it’s seems to be a hybrid. Taikyoku katas were not part of the original Isshinryu system. Also the stances are more deeper and longer more like Shotokan. Isshinryu stances are more upright and shorter with both feet forward. Interesting. Taikyoku are very basic forms introducing one to karate. Interesting.

Ben fatto come primo kata❤ ma movimento dei talloni errato....non ci sta spinta del polpaccio ...io farei ruotare sul tallone per non dire del pugno non dato correttamente.
Me gusta el karate pero a la vez lo odio, el domingo tengo un campeonato y me estoy pudriendo de nervios voy a hacer kata y Kumite, espero ganar aunque sea una vez y por lo menos quedar en 3er puesto, el campeonato anterior quede 2do. Ahora no se que pensar
Isshin ryu does the snap vertical fist. And i think some other styles of karate put the thumb on top irregardless to if its a horizontal or vertical as well. Its straight on imlact, they just snap it back

Your arm must be straight when you punch and the thumb must be OUTSIDE not In and put on more strenght.Then i think fix the fists
