Thanks for the video. Lake George was my summer place growing up. Love the lake, the camping is awesome. You should of went to the days in down the road from the great escape and splashwater kingdom. There rates are not bad for a room. Plus indoor swimming pool. I live in Colorado now, but will always remember lake George of upstate NY.😎👍

Anyone going to Lake George in the summer should go to the Glen Drive-In Theater. It's literally just south of The Great Escape theme park and Martha's Dandy Cream in the video. It's the same road (rt 9) that goes through downtown Lake George Village.

Six days on an island in lake George 260.00 per person for five people. That included breakfast,lunch ,dinner and all of your drinks. Also fishing trips,snorkeling and sightseeing. Last time the cost was 127.00 each for four people.

Look up water taxi on lake George. I sent an email to one last month,still waiting for a reply.
I get it if somebody wants to save a buck and go to the outskirts of the tourist areas. I've been going to Lake George since the 70's as a kid. For a while, we would just go up 9N to a lesser priced "resort." Each place has its own little beach area and you can spend hours. The kayaks were always free. Downside, you had to drive in to town and find a parking spot and pay for it. The village has also changed a lot in the last 10 years though still a nice place, just lost a little character. Now, we stay in one of the lake side motels/resorts along the lake just north of Shepard Park. You can watch the Thursday night fireworks from the place or go downtown. You can also walk downtown for the Friday night concerts or grab a bite to eat. If I just wanted to get away, I'd probably find another lake nearby to just hang out.

Hi! So sorry for the delay. Hmm I suggest to stay closer without a car. I’m not sure how much Ubers are, but I know it can add up quickly. You can definitely do a lot in lake George without a car.
nicely done. I'm here now and am comparing beaches for tomorrow. In all honesty, do you think hulletts landing is just a good to experience the lake as million dollar beach?
I've never heard of Hulletts Landing but have heard of MDB many times. What do you think if all things are equal?

Hi! So It depends what you’re looking for. MDB is bigger and has more people. If you’re looking to be social that is a good spot. There’s also more activities near MDB if you want to do things afterwards. Hullets landing is more low key, smaller, and quieter. For me it was the right fit because we didn’t want to be with the crowds. Overall beaches there aren’t over the top or anything like that, just good ol average NY beach. Hope this helps ☺️

I’ve lived in the area my entire life. Whitehall proper is one of the most decrepit towns in the area. It’s an old railroad/mill town that closed up 30 years ago. Even the Mcdonalds went out of business.
She stayed on Lake Champlain not Lake George so why didn’t the thumbnail say a trip to Lake Champlain? There are few if any places to get food in that area. Not even a supermarket within 15 miles. If you can get to Lake George in 30 minutes from Whitehall lmk how you did it please. It’s 28 miles and I’ve driven it countless times. With summer traffic it no less than 45 minutes.

She didn't give all the facts she said she stayed two nights and three days so that would have Ben 240 bucks just for the hotel then the other stuff added

Nothing cheap in lake george
Unfortunately I didn’t really like your blog, don’t get me wrong it’s good keep making them. It’s your experience it’s great but the things you did you can go anywhere and do the same things. For us lake George was our family vacation paradise everything we didn’t have at home. I know I was younger and it was 30 plus years ago I never really thought of a budget, I went with money I came home with money at that to e there were 3 amusement parks maybe a bit more down town we stayed in town at O’Sullivans had an efficiency unit and did a lot of meals there. Parking was always expensive so we could walk the village pros and cons either way. Keep doing these vlogs never stop

@@Raview_ Looks like you were kayaking "technically" in South Bay in Whitehall on Lake Champlain, right? That is the southern most point of Lake Champlain. Right next to Whitehall, NY
