I am truly amazed! You actually made an edible Rustlers! WOW! Personally and honestly, I do not see the sense in products like Rustlers. I will never dismiss those that need to stick to a tight budget and so takeaways are not a viable option, but equally, Rustlers is not the answer. For a similar price to a single Rustlers, you can get a box of 8 burger patties from a supermarket's basic budget range, which I am sure would taste far better than Rustlers. And in terms of time, I doubt frying a simple burger and adding a few extras would not take much more than 20 minutes i.e. quicker than waiting for a takeaway delivery and certainly quicker than collecting a takeaway. That was a great video and well done for turning Rustlers into something edible.
You’re right Gary, Rustler’s are pretty awful generally, and expensive for what they are in my opinion. And of course, with the time and effort it takes to pimp it up I could cook a decent burger!
Yeah, it's definitely got me thinking as to other simple ways to improve what can be a disappointing experience. A lot of ready meal type options are pretty bland, but it wouldn't take too much effort to give them a bit more flavour at least!
@@GreenoEats Ya know what chap, I haven't bought a burger from the supermarket for over 3 years now, I just buy mince, ball it and smash it with a little seasoning on it and never looked back. I'm a bugger for pizza though, and I pimp up the shop bought ones something rotten 😂
I would love a series of you elevating premade meals - genius idea. the burger looked great, and that's coming from a rustlers skeptic! maybe you could elevate a meal deal?
Elevating a meal deal - now that would be a challenge! I'll have a think about how that could work - I guess I'd have to look beyond my usual BLT, crisps and a diet coke 😂

Significantly cheaper than 50 quid! 😂 I buy the £1 cheese and tomato pizza out of the chiller in tesco sometimes and put jalapeños, mushrooms and onions on it.
Yeah absolutely cheaper. By about 48 quid lol ! My kids quite like those £1 pizzas, maybe I should get one and cook half plain, and half with added toppings, see the difference!

@@theabandonedhunter3604 Bournemouth have made some decent signings this summer, including the new manager. We've got a fairly tricky first 8 games, but hopefully we'll be aiming to finish in a comfortable 12th-14th place area. Weymouth I'll settle for mid table, last season was stressful, the only time they were out of the bottom 3 was at full time of the final game!!
Never a big fan of microwave burgers to be honest, but you Changed my mind sir, As always excellent video, will we see more pimp my microwave foods then,
I've never bought a microwave burger so was very interesting to see what was in the packet. One slice of processed cheese was a bit pathetic! TBH it was an interesting experiment and obviously much much better with your additions and change of cooking but I think I'd just buy a decent quality meat patty and make a burger bun from that and cut out buying the microwave thing altogether.
You do make a good point, I got that burger on a clubcard deal at Tesco and it was still around £1.80, so by the time I add in the other bits call it 2 quid, maybe £2.20. Could probably make a decent burger at home for less than that from scratch. Could be a good comparison that for a video sometime!
The beef content of them are actually decent for what they are. But can’t mind of ever trying one before. Certainly looked more appealing with your variation 😊

@@EdsCanineAcademy that’s really interesting, especially the health benefits you are experiencing as we are conditioned to think that saturated fats etc are bad. I suppose if you eat out it’s mixed grills all the way too maybe 😀
