@@danmyers7827 i use 10%fat beef steak mince, and add seasoning to taste. I make meat balls and flatten/shape them between two sheets of grease proof, then throw them in a screaming hot dry pan for 3-4 mins per side depending on how well done you want them, the key is to keep them pressed down whilst cooking for the knarly crispy bits on the outside (they fry in their own fat) 😋 Hope this helps, i'm sure someone will correct me, but just as a starting block, similar to five guy's 👍🏻

I just had The Big Cheese one. I made sure the buns were extra crispy in the toaster, and I added some extra mature grated cheese with Hienz Curry Tomatoe sauce amongst the Rustlers sauce that comes with it. I also added a sprinkle of Schwartz Onion flavouring. I thought it was absolutely delicious. The trick with making these products shine is to experiment a little with what you can find in the kitchen. I still think these burgers are decent barebones considering the price, but they can honestly surprise you with how tasty they are when you add a few basic ingredients that you can find in your kitchen.

I think you need a go pro camera for your outside videos. You can attach to a cap with a mount, or you can now get a small body cam that is really easy to attach to a shirt breast pocket. That way, you won't video the people but only the food.....I really like the travelling around videos for different butchers and prices, very different from what others are doing on UA-cam. Just an idea for moving forward. All the best 🙂

Some toasters have a bagel setting to toast just one side of the buns, most do not want the outside toasted as much. Another trick is to turn the toaster on its side and put the buns in so the insides are facing down, the heat rises and toasts them unevenly, the bit you want toasted is also closer to the heating elements. (watch out as it can touch them in some toasters)

I buy these for a quick snack but after I've toasted the bun I put butter on and it makes it so much less dry

The 'patty' looked a bit suspect when just out of the pack but all in all, this product's a surprise to me. I've always avoided them like the plague, but in a moment of burger need, I think this might hit the spot, so thanks for reviewing it Gareth. PS. Do always be careful when toasting your buns! 😃😃 (If lettuce is pictured but not provided, the product should say 'serving suggestion'.

Always heat the patty seperately on its own. Toast the buns. Then add the cheese and relish at the end.

I have had these before and the sub burgers, and they are what they are, just stop gaps for me, pick me up, often get couple in. Put the whole thing I do into the microwave with the cheese and put my own relish on usually mayo, the double cheese burger I often get. Ta for video

Hi Gareth from Spain. They're rather playing on words "100% British and Irish beef" plus soya and a fistful of other additives. Nah, you're better off making your own burgers, it's easy and you know just what's in them. How come it's got a GB sticker if it might be Irish beef? If the cheese were any thinner, you'd be able to see through it.

Gaz, i can't believe you thought it only contained 42% beef for so long! Couldn't you taste the difference? Cheap sausages (like Richmond) often have around 42% meat.

Yes I thought this tasted good for only 42% beef lol was happy to find it was 83% beef.

Thanks for the review! I don't really like the taste of the patties, but I do LOVE the BBQ Rib Rustlers one. Delicious. I toast those buns and fry some onions to put on it, and you get a bargain basement McRib. xD

Not bad for the money I suppose. I do like Aldi's thin burgers (pack of 6) They are quite similar to the pattie in this one.

Sorry, but those packaged things don't look all that good to me. We had burgers last Friday evening. Angus steak burgers, I think from Asda. Cheese was Edam and I put Heinz Burger Sauce on it with some lettuce. The only disappointing bit about it, she didn't check the bottle of gerkins and they'd gone off otherwise we'd have had slices of gerkin on them as well. YUMMY!
I've started eating those thin skinny chips now with my burger as I'm on a diet and want to lose weight. 🤭

Rustlers ‘The Big Cheese’. and the Rib one are a lovely Combo 👌🏻…. Occasionally of course 😆…. A bit of fine sliced raw red onion and the bbq sauce on the rib transform it…..
