I agree with Nic, gotta run the rebound pretty fast with the 38. I’ve spent quite a bit of time tuning this fork and I run the HSR 6 out from closed. Any slower and it’s too harsh.
Have you found an ideal psi and tokens? I'm still not 100% dialed with it, I don't think but kind of just ride and forget about it for now. 80kgs 100ish psi and 2 tokens seems ok
Been on a few reigns theyre always a well sorted bike and great value with good support in Aus.The only thing im not big on is the aesthetics of the frame design. The curves in the frame dont do it for me im more a straight lines person but thats just being picky i guess. Although the chameleon paint does more than make up for it.
How is the fit and sizing , you on a medium ? I remember years ago when I was riding a trek , I would jump on a friends trance and find the large bigger feeling than my large .
hey mate, just wondering if you would be able to weigh the bike? i have bought this bike and i am stoked but it comes in 2 weeks and i am just eager to find out the weight.
Awesome video! Please try the new Trek Fuel EX!!!
38 certainly is a finicky fork but once you hit the sweet spot it's unstoppable. Generally find it loves rebound very fast

Man this paint surprised me. I thought it was basically silver and black from the online pic. Its killer
That Giant Reign is all I hoped a new iteration Trek Slash would be! How would you compare your slash to this one so far?
This feels like a stronger framed Slash. Rear suspension may be comparable, Slash was more progressive likely

How you finding the m6120 brakes telly...did think I'd have to upgrade those but maybe not
They could stop a freight train
Did you ever try 20wt gold oil in the zeb as thats all i have and i'm wondering if it works well or not and how much to put in?
Thanks
I didn’t, but it should work without issue, and run the same volume as rockshox specs.
Is it really that much better than the slash??..what's your take
No I wouldn’t say that. Definitely a better performer than my Rune so far but
hey mate, just wondering if you would be able to weigh the bike? i have bought this bike and i am stoked but it comes in 2 weeks and i am just eager to find out the weight.
17.5kg with a multi tool and a plug setup stashed in the bike
@@mtbtelly5522 thank you, that really helps i do have a xl ordered so it will be heavy
@@EthanRenals she’ll be porky but not an issue for me
@@mtbtelly5522 yeah exited because it will be the first out of 20 in aus
and im also used to riding a 17kg norco fluid
