Hi Zoey and Coco! So fabulous to see you again and happy that you are back stitching. Love the progress you made on Animal Kingdom and your cat piece of black Aida. I know how not fun it is to stitch black on black so I definitely applaud you for doing this piece. I love your WIPopology board and hope you find your dice soon. I love Dobby's channel and look forward to her floss tubes as well. Your cowl yarn is gorgeous! I love the little splashes of color with the green and white. You purchased so many beautiful colors in your yarn haul. Your knitting always looks like perfection to my eyes, albeit I am no knitter myself but the pieces look like a machine would have stitched them. My jaw dropped at the first Creative Alchemy yarn. Love the sparkly yarn colors as well. You are simply amazing with all the crafts you do!
Aww thank you! Yes black aida is so much harder to work on! I ended up with a sheet of paper on my lap so that I could see the holes 😅 I still can't believe I lost my dice - it's not like they were little regular ones, they are giant wooden blocks 😂 Actually that gives me an idea! I wonder if my baby nephew has "borrowed" them, thinking they were his wooden blocks? Might have to raid his toy box and see! Have you seen Dobby's kitty portraits she's stitching! They're gorgeous! Omg there was so much lovely yarn I just wanted all of it! I'm thinking I might knit myself a hat with the creative alchemy one 😍 Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Big hugs xxx
I love, love, love your wipopoly board. I’d love to do one for my WIPs as, like you I’ve got a lot and it looks a super fun way of selecting what to stitch on. Your animal kingdom looks amazing. I need to get back to mine but I’m doing the ssmc version and I’m finding it a bit intimidating. Looking forward to catching up with you and your mum in September. Take care jxx
Mine is the ssmc version too! It is a huge piece, I keep thinking that everytime I look at the finished picture - I wonder if I'll ever finish it 😂! But it's still just one cross (or half cross) at a time, I try to focus on just the diagonal row I'm working on (it's like a mini finish when I get to the end of it!), and what new animals or things I get to find in that strip! I have so many wips that I kept forgetting what I actually had! Having then all on a board is really nice as I'm able to remember them, which makes me more excited to work on them when I get to their squares! 😍 Big hugs my darling xxx
I loved your wool haul. I’ve recently jumped back onto the knitting train after a 2 year break. Went to the Ampthill Wool Show and oh my God there’s so many fantastic dyers out there! Definitely have to check out some of the ones you mentioned, especially that Ruby & Rose one, do they have an online shop? 😍
