  • One of my all-time favorite pitches! Unfortunately, my GoPro died after the initial crux bulge, but enjoy what there is to watch!

    Wow looks so good and pretty safe at the cruxes! Nice send dude.
    Also, as a trad climber I'd rather see your gear placements than have you edit them out!

    Planning on sending this on Sunday, thanks for the video! Really helps to see the movement through the crux pitch in the first person.

    Do you ever fall or have fails? If so I would love to see a compilation of them 😊

    • @bradfordLburns
      @bradfordLburns  3 роки тому

      I do fall! I don’t have too many videos of falls because when I’m climbing at my limit, the GoPro distracts me, so I normally don’t wear it. Check out my newest video and my video of “Songline” to see some small falls n such.

    how do you like the NIAD lace vs the grandstone? is it worth having both?

    • @bradfordLburns
      @bradfordLburns  Рік тому

      Ive never owned the NIADs, only the old Anasazi pinks and the grand stones. The old pinks were hands down my favorite Trad shoe of all time. Super disappointed that they changed the designs to the NIAD. I also liked the grandstones but it’s sounds like they discontinued those too. I climb in the TC pros now and also have a pair of unparalleleds that I like for Trad climbing.

    Bradford, is that the Grandstone you're climbing in? Just an awesome looking pitch, btw! Definitely miss all the climbing there is to be done in Utah.

      @bradfordLburns  2 роки тому

      Yep! I liked the grand stones. I climb in Unparallel UP Pros now, as well as TCs for trad.

      @@bradfordLburns How are you liking the Unparallel UP Pros? I just saw Tom Randall climbing in them in the latest Wide Boyz video. I'm climbing in the Anasazi Pink lace ups right now. Which do you like better, the Grandstone or the TC Pro? Your videos are awesome.

    I'm not a rock climber. What are those metal things he's putting into the cracks? Will those actually hold a person if he/she falls?

    • @bradfordLburns
      @bradfordLburns  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, most of them are rated to 14 KN, or 3500lb. Those could hold a car in air if placed correctly

      They're called cams and in solid placements they'll easily hold a car as Bradford Burns said. They also sometimes get called friends after the brand Wild Country

    Sick :D
    I do some grad climbs on Granit and was wondering how solid is that sandstone.. 😅

    • @bradfordLburns
      @bradfordLburns  3 роки тому

      It’s generally pretty solid... atleast the good Windgate is solid. Small gear is a little scary on it and is known to blow!
