  • Watch to the end for a good whipper, 10' from the chains.
Top 5 climbs I've ever done (I'm a sucker for finger cracks). This route is an amazing 160' finger crack. Most of the climbing is 5.10+/5.11- up to the last 30' before the chains. It starts to thin out, and the last 10' is the crux, with barely-there feet and tips jams leading to a crimp to clip the anchors.
My feet hurt incredibly bad from breaking in shoes on the warm-up. My TC Pros worn in this video are incredibly soft now after multiple resoles, and you definitely need a stiffer pair of shoes for this pitch, as most of the feet are micro edges on the outside of the crack. Would've totally sent had my feet not hurt ;)

Shit, that's impressive! How did you manage to climb that high with a single rope? How long is the route and the rope? Also, you don't usually test your cam placements? Greetings from Brazil.

Thanks! Its 180' (50m) tall. I had a rap tag line attached to my harness to rap down. I think I was climbing on a 70m rope though, so had plenty of rope left.
What do you mean test the cam placements, like crank on them with my hand? I usually do that with stoppers (it also helps them get into better placements), but I don't do this with cams unless its in a suspect placement. Normally I can tell how good a cam is just by looking at it.
Nice! I'll be down in Brazil in just a few months!

Nice. Wish we had a devil's tower in Australia.

Haha, yeah I wish there were 10 Devils towers. You guys have some amazing looking climbing down there, though! I've always wanted to climb in the Grampians and the Blue Mountains!

Impressed by a lot, mostly your lack of tape. If I am finger jamming in 11 territory I gotta have tape.... even without sharp crystal granite, I just feel so much more secure with tape and gloves.

Thanks dude! Yeah tape may have been nice! I really need to go back with stiff shoes! My TC pros that I wore in this video were super soft and worn in. My feet hurt so bad!
