Love your videos mate, I've been hoping to start my own business doing PDR but stuck with the transition from practice panel to paying customers. I've had a couple of tries at real life dents but don't seem to get on as smoothly as my own manufactured ones. Any tips for making the next step?
Thank you Michael, yes its hard going from practise panels to real life dents, the ones you tried that didn't go so well, are you able to recreate those type of dents in your practice panel? It can be overwhelming or sometimes to big of a leap to go to a more complex dent but there's nothing wrong with holding out to find a small 'simpler' real life dent like the ones you are creating but on a real life car, the more dents you can get yourself Infront of the more practise you will have and the more your knowledge will improve, if possible start with friends and family at no cost to take the pressure off you before working up to charging customers

I took a training course back many years ago. Haven’t don’t any rap work or put on practice. What should I do to become good ?
To get good at anything requires practise but getting some good training can definitely speed up the process! Continue watching videos like this on UA-cam to get a good understanding then you'll need some tools and something to practise on like a spare panel or scrap vehicle. Are dents the same difficulty to remove depending how long its been there? ie 5 years or 1 month?? TIA
Good question, In my experience no, it doesn't make a difference if the dent is repaired the following day or 5 years down the line as long as the paint is fully intact. I've often repaired dents where the customer has said its been there for years, and usually they wonder why they waited so long to have it fixed :)
It seems I'm making all the typical mistakes. :)
Everyone makes mistakes this is normal, just recognise then and try to learn from each experience👍🏻
