I wonder how much early childhood teachers make in the USA? It starts at about 42 AUD an hour in Australia. It looks like 50 000 US dollars is what proficient teacher can make here in AUS

Hi! I’m currently a preschool director but I’ve been a preschool teacher for 10 years prior. They don’t make much. On average it’s about $16 an hour here in the USA and that makes me sad.

@ that’s much lower than here in Victoria Australia 🇦🇺. We are paid under the VECTEA and the conditions are not too bad. It’s in review as well. I know some teachers who make 90-100k a year but they are proficient .

Same here! From Victoria and paid under VECTEA. As a relief teacher I get about 48-52 $ an hour
