Thanks for demo. I was going to buy one as I am removing popcorn ceiling, Sanding and painting above my stairwell. Found out its relatively easy to make your own out of scrap wood, plus you have a larger platform for ladder to feel more secure. Saves a bunch of money and you feel accomplished you made something for fun. 😀
Nice one, Dude! You went a little "cowboy" there, I'm pretty sure our engineer is going to have an embolism when he sees how you set it up, but we're glad to see you liked it!
So basically your the rise of your stair steps was more than what ladder aide says (7.875") and you made it work by just putting the pin through the outside walls but not the interior member. My stairs are 8-1/8" of rise so over 2 steps it would be 1/2" off... would your trick work in this case?? I don't want to buy it before knowing. Thanks in advance for your help
Hey Oscar. I can’t say man. Mine happened to work out. I would recommend this one if you’re only doing your stairs ua-cam.com/video/qt4a2Z29X5w/v-deo.html
