Hi Matt thanks a lot for sharing this video. We had vinyl graphics to be mounted above a stairway about 3.6 metres high & built a platform similar to the one shown by you. We managed to do the job successfully. Thanks once again for taking the time to show every step in a detailed manner.

I don't like how narrow the base looks. I always worry about my support tipping. I have a product called a pivot. Works pretty well and I can place it against the back wall to prevent tipping

Hi Clint, thanks for your insights. The Ladder-Aide PRO is all solid steel and weighs a good 15 lbs. The base has a thick anti-slip rubber material, the whole unit is really rugged and sturdy and won't move or tilt when you're on the ladder.

Pivot does not fit many staircases though

What is the stair steps have carpet ?
Then it’s anti slip rubber would be useless

It's one of those things that's needed. But, I wish we could do something about the price. It costs just as much as the 300 18 ft gorilla ladder. Which is on sale right now for 99 being 'black Friday'. Still, can't really put a price on safety.

Really depends on the customer's needs, for example, if someone already has extension ladders and doesn't want to purchase another or rent small scaffolding for projects on stairs, then the Ladder-Aide PRO is the perfect product.

Good idea but £150 is expensive for a bit of metal with holes in!!

Hi, the pro has bolts as well as locking pins. Which am I supposed to use?

@Avajoshua9085 The Ladder-Aide PRO can be installed in two different ways, depending on your needs. If you prefer a setup that stays in place for an extended period without the need to frequently dismantle it, you should use the bolts. This method ensures a stable and semi-permanent installation. On the other hand, if you're looking for a more flexible option that allows you to quickly disassemble the Ladder-Aide PRO for easy storage and portability, then the pins are the way to go. The pin-based setup is designed for convenience, making it simple to take the unit apart and store it compactly when not in use.

Hi Tina. You can order directly from our website, www.ladder-aide.com. For the time being, only the PRO version is available for shipping to UK. Flat-rate shipping, duties included.

A bit too thin... See how that particular ladder had pivoting legs what if a ladder doesn't it would exert more force backwards and the whole platform would topple backwards breaking your neck in the process...

When using a Ladder-Aide, its important to follow the same guidelines as using a ladder on the ground. The ladder must always follow that 4-1 rule - set the base 1 foot out from the wall for every 4 feet it reaches up to make sure it doesn't tip backwards. We've also tested this set-up with the Ladder-Aide PRO for this type of failure (foot slip test).

I just purchased the ladder aide pro and cannot figure out what the 4 bolts are for that came with it… would love some insight on that! Thank you
