I have spent 35 years of my life in Melbourne. It's FABULOUS. Lived in Sydney 10 years ,,, hate it's oppressive humidity. I am originally from Perth, Western Australia, very dull place with terrible heat waves. Melbs weather is the best, so mild. FUN FACT: Sydney's driest month is still WETTER than Melbourne's wettest.
I'm glad you made it over to the westside. There's a lot to check out over here. You could do a video of Yarraville. It's a very cute suburb, great cafes, restaurants and shops, fantastic art deco cinema. Every year the suburb goes nuts over halloween. They seriously turn it out and it's a like a festival in the main street. Anyhow, good to see you having fun as usual :)
Peninsula Hot Springs used to have a cap on entry. It also used to be half its current size. I still enjoy it but I tend to go first thing in the morning as soon as it opens or late evening.
Federation Square, not Federal (very close!) I've mentioned it before but I'm super impressed with your pronunciation of Melbourne, you should ask your partner to help you put with Straya. Love your videos & seeing familiar sites through fresh eyes.
Hello Ashleigh of Ashleigh Fay Vlogs/@@coffeeenut, the Australian city name Melbourne is pronounced in American accent as ‘Mel-burn’, like burn but with a strong R sound! 🇦🇺 🇺🇸
You are making great videos, your videos deserve to get more views. You don't do SEO on your videos, so people who need to see this video can't see it.
I spent 16 years of my life in Melbourne one weekend. It's a shithole. I've been there maybe 50 times, hate it. However, I am from a different country, Western Australia, so it's probably unfair to compare, but I do like everywhere else in your country, Australia.
