The last lady with the Omeprazol and the nausea hit close to home for me. Im also on Omeprazol which is a proton pump inhibitor. I take it to deal with an acid issue I have. The thing is, if you take Omeprazol and eat a slightly dodgy meal, where others would have no trouble with it you end up getting gastroenteritis because your stomach acid is reduced so it can't kill all the bugs. I spent ten days trying to recover from the gastroenteritis. Ginger tea and probiotics were all that helped. She has my sympathies. I know my pain hit an 8 frequently during my bouts of nausea, which are worse at night because of the circadian system. I hope she feels better soon.

I know that feeling well,I ended up in hospital with covid and gastroenteritis even with 4 lots of anti sickness in me I vomited constantly for 11 hours . Even with the tablets I still end up with a burnt throat and I still get heartburn and indigestion and take other things to try and combat this it's a constant never-ending circle of pain

That is very interesting I’m also on a PPI Somac 40mg. For GORD I had no idea the reduction in stomach acid due to the medication could leave you more susceptible to gastroenteritis I have these issues a bit more frequently than most others seem to maybe it has something to do with the drug- however when i accidentally ran out of than decided to stop treatment to see how I went my heartburn acid reflux and severity of my asthma all deteriorated while I was off treatment.

It also hit home with me too, but for slightly different reasons. I had been told by my GP to stop taking tramadol (a strong painkiller) as it wasn't helping and to just come off it, so I did what I was told and within 2 days I literally thought I was dying, I was so sick for 5 days straight - not able to keep anything down including my other medications which include epilepsy medications so I was then having seizures as well as physically being sick, felt so hot and cold at the same time and ended up in hospital having to be admitted so they could hook me up to hydrate me and get the sickness under control. Basically the GP should never have told me to just stop taking the tramadol - its actually dangerous to just stop taking it, especially considering that I'm on other medications that I then wasn't able to keep down. I also take lansoprazole and suffer with sickness quite often but I had never experienced sickness like that before it was absolutely terrible. It really shook my confidence in my GPs.

@@kirstyrogers40 holy smokes that sounds awful. My hubby was on trama after neck surgery but he was warned to never just stop taking it.
My sympathies friend. Nobody should ever have to experience that. I'm glad the hospital managed to get everything controlled again. Hugs. You may want to find a new doctor.

I felt sorry for the elderly woman who wanted to die that she just didn’t wanna live like that anymore. And then here she ends up losing her finger that must’ve been a shock. I’m glad to hear that she’s doing much better and has a more positive outlook.

How could somebody employed by the police service not know an overdose when she sees one and worse, say it's a cardiac arrest when the patient has a strong pulse?

When you are epileptic cannabis doesn't make you high doesn't make you get giggles or the munchies you dont feel the side affects off any cannabis but it stops your fits.

Psoriasis is NOT a skin condition. It's due to a poor liver. Clean it out and live without fried/ fast food. Lots of dark greens like spinach. No soda or alcohol. Herb tea. Only little coffee. After it gets better you can sin a little. I have psoriasis but you can't tell.

    • @mnicholl93

You seem to be mistaking psoriasis, a condition thought to be caused by an issue with the immune system making too many skin cells, causing patches of red, dry skin covered with silvery scales, for liver CIRRHOSIS which is liver disease 🤦🏽‍♀️
