Thoughts are always with Dan's family and friends, and Ellie 💕💐
From this show, you can tell how wonderful and caring Dan was

What happened to Dan? Nothing was mentioned in this episode. Sorry to ask but saw your comment

@dianetandy1757 it was quite some time after this was on tv. Dan was unfortunately found with his girlfriend in a house in June this year. It apparently wasn't due to natural causes what happened to them.
I don't think they've made public what caused them to be sadly no longer here

The person that had passed away on the train tracks made me remember my son‘s friend who when she was 18 and was being pushed by her family to become a doctor and she did not want to become a doctor at all. Her family never budged and her life was unbearable for her and her friends all knew this, but they never thought that she would do what she did. It’s what we call a sky train here and she was meeting her friends to go to the mall so her friends were in the train and they saw her at the station and then they didn’t see her and the train came to a screeching halt. I cannot imagine what she felt about life put there by her parents and family to end it in such a terrible way.
They say that the number of suicides that they have in London is up by 1/3 I believe and I don’t doubt that it’s like that in places around the world, including where I live.
If you can’t make it in this life working a full-time job, something’s wrong. I think that’s where we’ll would love to go back and we live the 70s and the 80s because financially for us. It was so much easier to survive than it is now.

You all are so good with the wounded. I know you don't hear it, but your accent is very different. I like to hear it. You probably think the people in America sound different. Thank you for helping as you do.

I have fully respect for ambulance crews and fire service. The things they deal with on a daily basis has got to affect them You can never get used to seeing and dealing with certain situations

My husband lost his brother 40 yrs ago by train collision. The gates at a crossing failed and opened when a train was coming. My husband witnessed it all and had to go home and tell his parents 💔😥

I remember when i was 13 i was waiting for my grandmother to arrive by train and i had a guy beside me ask me for the time and when i went to look at him to let him know he was on the track. 34 years later i still remember everything about him cops said he was suicidal

I'm really sorry you had to experience that. It isn't fair to force a young man to experience such a traumatic scene. I do hope you know none of it was your fault and he may have been trying to shield you from his final moments by diverting your attention.

Why couldn't they use the collar on Dan instead of holding his head?

If his head is at an angle they can’t put a collar on

Quite courageous for the emts to go see the body on the tracks. Wise though, to look so they'll be ready.
