I just want to give the dad that accidentally hit his son with the forklift truck a huge hug! I just feel so sad for him! I hope he can forgive himself and move forward. Accidents happen. You can tell he’s an amazing dad with a wonderful, brave son!

@@suziedebolt6619 Excuse me, have you ever driven a forklift? His son could’ve just went right in the blind spot of his dad and the son should’ve known better maybe, have you thought about that? He’s not a five-year-old. Accidents happen. Negative comments aren’t needed. The dad will never forgive himself for what happened.
You’re not perfect and nobody else is either so don’t make out like you are.

I feel the same way. Accidents happened and if they hadn’t happened before in history, then you question it but kids on farms, kids running behind the car instead of going in front of the car where their parents can see them and their parents run them over, it happens. That’s why it’s called an accident. Accident means you don’t mean to do it.
I’m glad somebody else feels the same way I do towards the dad and I think it was great that his wife was supporting him and supporting the son. I bet you by now he’s looking eye to eye to his dad. And the son and dad both work the farm together and they love it.

@@SnowPink90 I'm unsure about Pearl but my grandma was on steroids a very long time which caused her skin to thin out and become very easy to bruise and tear off with little force.

My husband always said, Do not introduce your best friend to your new girlfriend. He had known more guys that had introduced their new girlfriend to their best friend, and the girlfriend and best friend ended up being together and it broke up the two guy’s friendship. My husband was in his middle teens when he entered the 1960s and he said it was always happening then.
I think that these two guys in the video they’ll stay friends, no matter what. That type of friendship you cherish for life because I’ll tell you usually you don’t stay friends with anybody that long. It was so nice to see and nice to hear them talk about how they feel towards each other .

I can not imagine my son and I going through such an event. When we are going through difficult times, it seems as though you will never get over it....then many years later at a family get together it will become "remember when" and thankfulness for a life that continued on to be amazing!

Yes, I feel very sorry for the dad, much more for the boy. If this had happened in Australia, the police would be there and the business's OH&S certificate would be revoked and business operations would be halted for an enquiry by WorkSafe Australia. A minor should never be allowed anywhere near a workplace that has heavy machinery and equipment around. The rules about correct PPE etc are strictly enforced and the penalties for non compliance are severe. Unfortunately these small businesses often have both parents working there for financial need, but that becomes immaterial when something like this happens.

I’m sure that there was an investigation of some kind. But most people have cameras and if not I am sure it would have been easy to explain and prove that it was just an accident.

    1.
an unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury.
I just wanted to Google the definition of accident for people that don’t realize what it is.
Knowing that he had hit his son almost destroyed his dad, as you could see him looking down at his son in the hospital bed. That dad is an incredible dad and he would never ever hurt his son his one and only son. I bet you now Henry is looking eye to eye to his dad and helps his dad with the farm as much as he can.
And I have to say that I am so impressed with Henry’s mom for how she just put her wings around her family and took care of them during this time. She was so supportive of her husband and of her son and I just think that is so wonderful to see!! When you first saw them playing cards with Henry sitting beside his dad and the way that his dad was looking at him. It was nothing but pure love and there was mom with a great big smile on her face thinking how she loves her guys!!
What a life beautiful pearl had and I think about how even at her age she still went out and met friends for some tea and biscuits and I thought it was so lovely. Then at the end you see that she has passed away and I hope she had a peaceful passing. Soon she will hear Him call and she will answer.🥰🩷
    BFF
    Best Friends Forever
Those two young men that were in the car accident they impressed me so much with all the love that they had between them and how their lives have been intertwine since they were so young is incredible. There’s not many friendships that last that long. The poor one who lost his mom at such a young age and it had just been the two of them made me tear up because for my son‘s first six years of his life it was just the two of us and we are so very close because of it. My son is now 40 and he supports me as much as I support him, but to lose your world at such a young age, it must’ve been so hard, even though he went and lived with his grandparents. It just broke my heart to know that he didn’t have his mom anymore. My heart goes out to him.

    1. The kid who's injuries could KILL him.

A DISTANT 2nd the dad who mowed him down with a forklift. Not saying it was intentional but get real on who got the worst of it.

@conradsieber7883: Absolutely correct! Did you notice how much time this video showed the mom comforting the dad, and how little time both parents spent consoling their son? They did not know the prognosis yet; the poor boy could have been facing permanent life-altering conditions! Good Grief! 😢
