2 things that Mazda as a company has my utmost respect:
1) they have not fallen into the CVT pitfall, unlike it's other Japanese counterparts.
2) smaller budget than Nissan, Toyota and Honda, but they focus that smaller budget to make good cars. And today they make, hands down, best driving cars from Japan.

Hi Jason, the way you introduce the car is far more better than the rest.
The new Mazda 3 has all the flair and panache from an Alfa Romeo but with almost none of its drawbacks... unfortunately car like this can never appeal to the mass market but I think that's what makes Mazda a little more special compared to your typical Honda or Toyota

I own CX3 2019, yes handling is impressive, good fit and finish, good after sale service, from my experience for cx3 it is a good car but not perfect but still love the car very much

yes. it's hard to put it into words. with the same principle of kodo design, still love my mazda2, even after 6 years. + many strangers that i met, thought it's brand new,even today haha..not many on the road..that's why. so this mazda 3 is, i believe, definitely even better.
Time to upgrade to the new Mazda 3 bro, i thought the new cx5 is already a huge leap from the first gen skyactiv mazdas, but the new Mazda 3 just takes things to another level

Latest 3 hatchbck is soo salivating 2 c. Go 4 the hatch if u like the uniqueness of that c-pillar. But the latest 3 is now 2+ yo & a facelift is coming. Also 5th gen is coming in arnd 2024 considering normal 5-yr lifecycle. I prsonally would wait 4 the nxt gen cuz facelift 4 me is more like a mod car & next gen shd b revolutionary.

Jason is not exaggerating, i nearly miss the chance to test drive this car after test drove CX30, but i ended up did. Then i bought one, liftback.

Premium only in malaysia. Priced not so much different to honda and toyota elsewhere. A shame really
but mazda is bringing the real "Japanese" car to the shore. You don't see this in the H and T. And trust me, the built quality makes a difference between local car and CBU Japan.

Even satria came with double wishbone, why mazda opted for cheaper torsion beam is out of mind..it does affected many sporty enthusiasts decision, high speed cornering stability is paramount to us, this will be a significant ultimatum~

I would not praise Mazda to the extent that this reviewer did. I think the price of Mazda cars is totally unjustified and no ordinary people will want to pay such high prices. High price without much features. I bought 2 Mazdas in the past but I do not think I will buy another one, at least not with its current price tag.
Of coz. You may also not understand why people splurge thousands on premium bags when a plastic bag can do the trick too.

As an owner of the Mazda 6 and have rented the Audi A3 SB (1.4L) and the latest Audi A5, to say that a mazda drives better than an audi is an exaggeration. No doubt Mazda's interior quality is really good, the engine still fares lower than audi's. The audi A5 is way more powerful than a Mazda 6. That being said, mazda has improved tremendously, being way better than honda, toyota and nissan of course (owned a Nissan note and pulsar before)
He never said power. People who don't know much about cars always assume better driving means more power. It's not. It's about driver engagement.

I understanding the vast improvement Mazda has made, however I have to disagree it handles nor drives better than a similar Audi Sedan or hatchback. The A3 and A5 is alot more fun to drive. At the end of the day, it really depends on what your budget is and what you like.
Audi is really king of high speed drivng, absolute stability and 0-100 acceleration for normal person like us, Mazda might win in comfy ride and slightly happy tail when cornering. Agree with you, driven A3 1.8T quatro, doubt a mazda will be more fun than that little quick rocket. Once you daily drive a car with nice power, you really have no desire for a 4 cylinder NA automatic car, unless it is a miata or brz

I won't dare to feedback on cars or car brands which I haven't driven before. My family owns the 2019 facelifted Mazda 6 and a Audi A3 Sedan. Honestly even the A3 with its 1L engine feels quicker. That being said, I can definitely understand the hype about Mazdas as the exterior looks is so good (mine's in soul red crystal) and the interior is even better than the A3. Coming from someone who owns 2 nissans before, Mazda is definitely the champion in interior finishing and exterior looks among Japanese brand period. I would love to own a Mazda MX 5 someday!😅

Too many, too big of bombastic words, overly used. (Sounded like making a mole hill into a mountain). Mazda is trailing behind Toyota, Honda and Nissan. The product lines are limited and narrow, therefore they need emphasis in details to market position. Always cautious of SkyActive tech=high pressure internal combustion; good when new but probable higher cost of upkeeps as car get old.
For you. Just keep driving Perodua and good resale value Toyota la. You can't talk about art with pigs.
Please own 1 before you talk lol. Personally have a Mazda 2 and still going strong despite the high mileage I put in, this is my 5th year ownership and no headache at all. 2 month ago, I went and bought my 2nd Mazda which is CX-30, enjoying every single bits of it. Let me tell you one thing, I will never go back to Toyota or Honda after owning a Mazda.

I m stating the facts. SkyActive technology is a high pressure, high temperature type ICE~”similar” to Diesel design. It would need stringent periodically servicing.
If u r rich in artistic intuition and wealth; get a Pagani Huayra R/Zonda R. Only cheapskate fools perceive that driving Mazda reflects being “rich” and “chic”. It is a Japanese car=cheap, practical, easy maintenance and reliable. All Japanese car lack style n performance.
@@angxiang3186 agree with you to a certain extent. Tbh bermaz really do give u a peace of mind when u purchase mazda with them. My Mazda 2 got 3 year free servicing and my CX-30 now get a free 6 year servicing. I dont need to pay a single cent and skyactiv is something that a car enthusiast will appreciate, the driving experience that other Japanese brand couldnt offer at the same segment. Even though my Mazda 2 is out of warranty or free servicing, its doesn’t cost me a bomb to maintain the car, understand that it is still noticeable higher than other japanese brand, but it doesn’t hurt our pocket in any way lol. Lack style i totally disagree, Mazda is probably the most stylish among other japanese brand while performance, i can substitute it with driving handling so its all good. I dont agree that fella saying rich ppl buy Mazda, cause im not lol. Im just buying what i like and stating my opinion based on my own experiences. Cheers.
