    The hatch looks much prettier and sexier than sedan. For me Mazda 3 is for someone who are very simple person but have a very high taste. I would buy this over the Civic. Good review Adrian!

    I was surfing UA-cam for today's Mazda video's and came across this. It would be an understatement to say I was surprised by the content, quality and entertainment value of this piece.
    We all know that there is much drivel and nonsensical content on UA-cam. Consequently, it is a pleasure to find something this engaging. And, yes, I "liked" it and subscribed.

    Very nice review, totally about the (highly pertinent) details, as you say before every video, Adrian!
    I bought my first Mazda CX-5 almost a year ago, a 2013 which is the first iteration of the first generation with a clearly, often-felt underpowered engine -- but I still love the car.
    I can't wait to buy newer models! I'm more of a sedan and hatchback guy because a CUV's height introduces too much body roll for me, however minimal compared to Toyotas and Hondas small CUVs, so I'll be looking toward the Mazda 6.
    PS: I live in Michigan, a temperate zone U.S. state with a fair amount of snow in winter time, and find I don't need or desire all-wheel drive. Too much expense for what you get. I will be getting the best new, truly all-weather tires, probably Goodyear Weather Ready for my next sedan or hatchback to be used in ride-sharing.

    The reality is that the building cost of the MAZDA 3 is expensive. Perhaps even more expensive than that of a BMW or Mercedes Benz. Those German cars may have established themselves as a luxury brand, that's why people (typical Malaysians) are willing pay for them to get recognize for their status. But Mazda, in typical Malaysians mind, are on the level of Toyota and Honda. With a sudden hike in this Mazda 3's price, people aren't willing to accept it. Of course things take time, it'll definitely be few years time for Mazda to establish itself as a luxury brand but now it's only for the ones who can really look beyond the badge to appreciate the details.

    I own the Mazda 3 sedan for 6 months now and have not looked back since... It is really a driving pleasure both normal or sport mode. Adaptive cruise control is a heaven for a busy commute on a highway. And when you want to play, 130 km/h is easy with sport mode. The cons are, they're not a lot of population of this car. I can't even spot another Mazda 3 sedan for 5 months straight. Hence, you can't get much of the aftermarket parts available.
    All in all, this is a great car. Packed with useful features and the latest technology you can't get within the price range of other brands in the same class.

    Beware, Mazda maintenance skeds state the timing chain never needs to be changed and although the Powertrain Control Module should tell you there is a problem, there have been a lot of CX3/5/7/9's with timing chain problems and ruined engines. Sked also states that the ATF shouldn't be changed unless there is a gearbox failure/component failure. Although the ATF is temp controlled by the radiator and the Transmission Control Module monitors the effects of oil degredation and controls gear changes speeds and timings to prevent slip and shock, there is no service or check interval. Gearboxes are expensive and many Mazda 6's have changed their ATF to prevent failures.

    • @chongjiunkit3901
      @chongjiunkit3901 2 роки тому

      @@bakardream I love the exterior and interior of the car, power is sufficient for my driving habit, suspension is firmer but can be mitigated by using softer tyres like Michelin Primacy 4 with slightly lower tyre pressure, maintenance is free for 5 years so the price difference with its competitors like Honda Civic RS is not that much, with the premium feel worth the price difference. Paint is very susceptible to stone chipping so please put PPF once received the car. Minor glitches like driver seat side airbag and side mirror autofold malfunction are common but claimable. Overall a pleasurable driving experience. Very handsome car.

    Nice review, beautiful car. Great to hear someone talk about the driving emotions, etc. So many people just don't get it.
    But a "family car"?? Seriously? Rear is no good for a family: Cramped, no ventilation, no connectivity, darkness, high window sills, bad visibility, etc and boot space among others means it is completely and utterly impractical for a family.

    This car appeals to those who want a product that is fine tuned to every single detail. It's not a car that will appeal to those who just want the numbers and to show or to "tapao whoever".
    You don't put this next to a Honda Civic.
    When you put this next to a Mercedes-Benz A-Class or 1-Series, then you'd see how much better built and to drive the Mazda 3 is compared to so called premium rivals.
