Hello Corporal! I want you to know that I’m one of your trusty supporters and I salute you every time I watch one of your videos. After a bad car accident I’m paralyzed from the waist down but my handicap are the suicide pain in my back and legs. But after what you learned me many tips and tricks how to come back to the wilderness I have been out in the Norwegian woods fishing and building shelters every weekend since the middle of March. I ride my atv into the peaceful nature and for the first time in 12 years I really live again. This weekend my son, 16 years old build our own version of bushcraft bunk bed and it was fxxxing outstanding!!!!! Thank you so much Corporal! I tear up here I’m sitting.. sorry. But you don’t know how much that means to me. You have saved my life sir. I look up to you! I served in the kings guard here in Norway and loved it, so I know a thing or two about proudly wearing a uniform with my country’s flag on my shoulder to. Not in any way comparing my service to yours, but I can see that you rightfully can look back to the time you served with pride. Thank you for your service! I look forward to many awesome and instructive videos in the future! You are a good man and father and I’m on your side against the lowlife keyboard warriors! Don’t you dare apologize for your ‘rant’. This is my first time watching you and I totally enjoyed it. I don’t know what other people have said, but ignore them. Any military personnel, in my mind, are without reproach. My father was a paratrooper. I have respect for the men/women in the military and so should everyone else who didn’t get off their couch.

Bush crafting has always been a love of mine and I was one of those you spoke about by way of limited exposure. I have upped my game tho, both as a survivalist & just the joy of bush crafting. The darn accident left my brain injured and I have had to relearn creative logic, and there my friend is where your videos have helped me. So thank you. I just need to learn or relearn and up to that task.

Thank you again, took your covered campfire and wind shields to heart. Going to improve my campfire pitt in my yard to shield the straight line winds that come across the lake. The winds have ruined many relaxing fires. From the street view, to appease the nasty neighbors, will build more of a garden landscape view. Have two fire pits and like to use both. The wind break will work in the back, but in the front I'm thinking rocks, slate or brick with shrubs/plants. I like working outside and it will be a nice challenge for me as well as useful for camping.

I would add that if you get into the habit of putting up tarps so the water collects at set points, you can dig a channel away from camp. It really helps the ground dry up!

Never had the skills you do. That's why I watch.I don't know where you live but you sure have the wood. I'm in Houston Texas and the problem with Texas is that it is all privately owned or at least seems. You can drive forever and everything is fenced in.

However, now due to age and health, I may never get the chance to be out there again however love videos like this I use them to help me go to sleep at night by reimagining everything every skill that you displayed and doing it all re-creating it in my head. He has told me personal experiences he experienced in and during combat. We have that relationship he can trust. Just watched your video. Just ignore those few negative fellows and comments. I've watched now for many years, learned and enjoyed every one for a multitude of reasons. I'm a veteran as well, not Navy but doesn't matter. I enjoy learning knowledgeable peoples skills to add to my own skills set and you're one of the best on social media. A straight shooter no bullshiter is hard to find these. I say just ignore those negative few.
First of all, thank you for your service, Corporal. I had the honor of being a corpsman with the USMC for 14 years. My service time was between wars, so I can’t say I have that extra camaraderie that comes from combat. I did do 20 years in Nav though and most of us former service can spot stolen valor turds easily…you are the real thing. You remind me a lot of the outstanding NCOs I served with. Semper Fi.
