To be honest, it was a very fun video. Whether or not there is or isn't a Sasquatch is irrelevant. It's simply fun to live as if there is still some mystery and magic in the world and go playing in it. I envy the logging of your travels and time out in the forest alone.

,I had an experience on the Yaak river in n.w. Montana. I heard, what could have been a big foot. It was very loud and didn't sound friendly. But, that is not empirical proof. It is easy to take an experience like that and put any kind of twist on it. It would be a shame that all the people that swear they have close encounters with them, are delusional. Or liars. There is truth and we should allof us temper our judgments. In science, there is a hypothesis, and fact is theory. What man can think man will. Pursue.

Few yrs ago up in Central Western Washington state, around 1am, heard what sounded like a severe 'argument', nearly a fight between maybe 4 to 6 individuals a long way off. Went on for some 20 minutes. IDK if it was a prank, someone blasting a recording, or anything else but I don't think humans could have made those noises, hard to describe but indeed only resembled a few recordings I've heard. Certainly no known to me animals sound anything like that.
Highly skeptical by nature and discipline, but open.

Eva, the first discovery of Bigfoot foot prints was in the early 1950's. I grew up in Eureka (Humboldt County) in the 1950's. My dad was a Land Rover dealer, and he and my uncle took my brother and me camping in the Bluff Creek campground, right on Bluff Creek. This was also in the early 1950's. Two weeks after we were there was when the loggers found the first Bigfoot foot prints in the Bluff Creek area! It still brings chills up my spine to realize we were right there shortly before the first prints were found!

As much as I love the idea that they might exist and a new species could be discovered, it's simply impossible that a large land mammal could exist without their bodies ever being found. Even though the dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago we have lots of their skeletons. If sasquatch existed now, living amongst humans we would have not only their skeletons from thousands of years ago, but lots of their large hairy bodies. Bodies don't vanish. There's no conceivable way in which their bodies could always be secretly disposed of after they died so that they were never found.

    • @stingray4540

How often do you come across a dead deer carcass in the woods? Yet there are hundreds of thousands of them. If there were only a few Bigfoot and they avoided people, it’s entirely possible we wouldn’t come across their remains. Just behind my house alone, if you hike to the top of the 7,000 ft peak, there is 15 miles to the east and 20 miles to the north, as the crow flies, of complete wilderness. No roads, no hiking trails, just thick forests, mountains and valleys as far as the eye can see. Of course, I too think it’s unlikely that Bigfoot exists, but if you go spend some time hiking, hunting, etc in some of the remote areas of the country, you will realize how plausible it could actually be. The forest critters get rid of carcasses pretty quick. Even if you’re a shed hunter, if you don’t find antler sheds the same year they are dropped, they will be half eaten away if you do find them.

    • @step4560
      @step4560 2 роки тому +1

I think you'd be surprised at how fast a body 20 - 30 miles deep in thick Oregon forests can "vanish". There are many many critters that live there that will devour any dead body in a matter of days - completely gone in a week. I also don't think you realize the vastness of of the Wilderness of N. America, and no, Sasquatch is not living amongst humans. Their extremely meager populations live only in the remotest of areas that will support their survival needs and they stay away from humans and any civilization. There are no archeological digs in those areas either... There is plenty of anecdotal evidence to suggest there is some sort of large hominid out there and even though that seems unlikeley to some, it is feasible if you look at and study the matter more closely...

@@GabrielTravelerVideos Really? You found a deer carcass near a road? I wonder how it died? How long was it dead for? Do deer knowingly haul off their dead? You seem to be missing what Stingray was talking about, there are hundreds of square miles of wilderness all throughout this country and others where there are no roads, people, that thousands of animals die daily. yet you "May" see one or two a year by a road depending on where you live in this country. What if this "bigfoot" buries it's dead or maybe even burns it's dead, how are you going to find that, in the areas of land that have never been seen by humans let alone where humans got lucky enough to find a prehistoric find, or even ancient ruins. While I find that Bigfoot is plausible because of the facts, technology has caught up and if they do exist, "we" will know soon enough.

I was the third in line with two other trucks, if I remember correctly, we were eastbound, it was a beautiful afternoon somewhere in the mountain west (it's been so long ago now I just can't remember). This big black hairy creature came out of the woods on the left side of highway ran lightning fast across four lanes of traffic and the median just in front of the lead truck and back into the woods on the other side. I remember thinking to myself, what the hell did I just see when the guy in the first truck came over the radio yelling. Did you see that, did you see that, that was a bigfoot!! All three of us truck drivers talked about that for many miles trying either to make sense or come to terms with what we saw. Since that day I've always leaned to the fact we don't know everything about everthing. Happy trails.

I have dozens of out of the way campsites I stay at each year in the Rockies. When I camp, I don't see anyone else around and there are no buildings for many miles. At one of those campsites, everytime I leave and take a walk, when I come back, food is missing. That's strange because without hands and fingers, you can't get to the food without brute force and there was no force like from a bear, etc. To happen that fast, something had to be watching me, then when I leave, grab the food. It happened every year. At the third year, on my way out of the campsite a mile or two down the jeep road, I saw three people. I said hello, and we started talking, and they said they are big foot searchers and there were multiple sightings in this area. I didn't believe in big foot but reframed from laughing because I didn't want to disrespect them. But with my food magically disappearing, it had me thinking until I thought to myself, no it couldn't be, there is no big foot.
I decided to get a motion sensing camera on the fourth year. I set it up and the food was missing again. Each of the campsites are at least a hundred miles apart and it only happens at this location. I checked the camera and it did turn on, but all it captured was a blur. By this time, I had used it for weeks, so I knew how to work it. I tested it by taking food myself from the tent and did it fast by running to the food, opening the latches of the container, and opening the plastic lid the food is in, replacing the plastic lid, closing and relatching the container, and running out. The camera caught everything I did with no blur. The next day I tested the camera again on me, no blur, and set it up and took a walk and food was missing again. I checked the camera and it was just a blur again.
So what is my conclusion? I don't have one. Call me weak, but for my mental health, I try not to think about it, because thinking about it just gives me anxiety. To not make myself crazy, I just tell myself that we people are born into this existence and we don't know why we are here and very little about the universe around us and what is in it. So it should be expected that there is an abundance of the unknown we can't explain. That is where I'm leaving it. Now on with my life.

One day when he was off he was hiking in the forest. He heard something massive crashing around in the treetops and moving so quickly through the trees he immediately was afraid. He was carrying his service revolver end even fired off a few shots before leaving ASAP. He said as he left he was definitely followed from above in the trees. When he got back to work he told his boss, the sheriff, what happened. The sheriff told him he could file a report and he would put it with the rest of them as he gestured to a large file box.

That "whoop whoop whoop" sound is from a sooty grouse. Anyone who hears that and demands that you run out of the woods is way too scared to be around, and you definitely shouldn't be in the woods with him.

We went deep through the Umpqua forest south of where you guys are here while on a cross country dirtbike trip and this one area we got lost in was bizarrely uncomfortable with a sense of dread and it felt like we were being watched. It was oddly silent for the deep woods, too, there was some predator around. We were lost because our gps kept jumping around, and some roads were haphazardly blocked by huge logs like they were just dropped there. I’ve spent hundreds of days in the deep woods and never felt the unease I had there. Whatever it is, there is something out there that doesn’t want people around.

That's legit. I've experienced that. I've had trails blocked the day I went down them and have even heard what sounded like a large man jump out of a tree and take off running away. A year later that trail wasn't even a trail anymore. It was covered up so well. When I was a kid I was always in the woods, practically every day until supper time. Never looked for bigfoot but thinking back on it, we'd hide stuff deep in the woods, like a hammer in the hollow of a tree, that would disappear by the next day. I mean something must have seen us put it in there. Only when I started paying attention later in life did I start to take note of the odd things in the forests. Foot stomps and wood knocks are pretty common. It's similar to odd lights in the sky. If you have access to the starry sky and watch it a couple hours a day for a week you'll see likely something, like a star that suddenly starts moving up and then cuts right-obviously not the ISS or an airplane. And when you're done seeing it you'll wonder why no one else is or why no one is taking it seriously. Haha.
Scientists will take ape sightings in the Congo seriously, but never ape sightings in North America..it's all a cover up in my opinion, they still won't admit America has jaguars. In 2003 they discovered a 5.5ft bidepal ape, so there's still more to discover.

I have a story, or shall I say, a person I knew when I was a young child in Red Devil, Alaska has a story, but I pick it up where I was involved. Back in 1969-1970 it was winter, around October. There was snow on the ground, and full moon, where the moon light creates shadows on the snow from the moon light. She was walking from the Vanderpool house on her way home on a small back trail in the woods. She decided to take the trail because the Vanderpools use to bring their trash to the middle of the frozen river and wolves would group up and the main road is visible from the middle of frozen river, so she took the back trail. She hasn’t been on the trail long when she seen a very, very large creature following her. She started running on the snow packed small animal trail through the woods. Our house was along that trail before she got to her home. She arrived to our house crying and historical telling us some big Harry creature was following her. She spent the night with us, she was to afraid to finish her journey home.
Our house had an old 55 gallon half drum wood stove, and it was to hot in the house so we left the door cracked open. Everyone in my family seen a Harry large hand come into the house. I was a kid and I remember seeming it as well. The next day we went outside and there was footprints of a very large creature who stood there for hours waiting. The reason we knew it stood there is because the creature melted the snow it stood on deep into the snow. It was really creepy, even as a 4 year old I thought it was creepy that something huge stood outside our house waiting for this girl to come out.
We as kids followed the tracks into the woods. I was to young so I turned back around and went back home.
The footprints were barefoot, and about a size 15-16. The biggest footprints I had ever seen in my life. I will never forget that.
I recently talked to the person who was chased by this creature and she remembered it like it was yesterday. She said it was extremely tall, and scary Looking.

who you are referring as "we"?? we know and ignorant ones will not believe until they promenade them on TV or smth (majority of them probably not even after that), cuz if its on TV its real, even if a vlogger like Eva would catch them on camera, it would be still considered fake news
most of the people are ignorant to the point, that they only believe what they lived through, meaning:
the guy (Tom) in the video that was talking about bone structure, definitely knows, probably had 1st hand experience, cuz he lives in the region, but
if he didnt lived there and never had any experience, he would be as ignorant as the rest
their ignorance is their protection, some people just invested too much into materialism and stuff you can see, that realizing smth like yeti exist would make them go crazy or kill them
      edit:
omg, just look at the comment below.."How does he knows the bone density is 12x more when no one ever found a bigfoot bone" how does he know, that no one ever found a big foot bone?? oh, right..they didnt showcase that on TV, so it didnt happen, for sure it would have been on TV, if smn have found one right 32 likes.....smash

If I were to seriously hunt a bigfoot I'd bring gifts for them too. They throw a rock at me, I would toss them an apple or orange. Early stages of communication and showing no harmful intent toward them. I mean, if you are going to go search for them make it epic. Finished watching the video. Well done, great work. Your friends seem like really cool people. I love that you're exploring the forests of Oregon, one of my favorite places in the world. And I fully support the quest for the elusive, mysterious, enigmatic sasquatch/big foot/yeti/abominable snowman, whatever you choose to call it. Personally, I didn't see anything that offered any convincing evidence that they could exist. Your friends seem to have a strong case of confirmation bias, which is the tendency to interpret new evidence through their belief in something, rather than considering what other causes might be responsible for the phenomenon, such as foot prints, strange sounds and broken branches, which of course could be a result of many different factors. But hey, it's a fun hobby, it's definitely not a waste of time, tromping through the forest is one of the best ways to spend a day and you never know, maybe undeniable evidence of a sasquatch will in fact be found at some point that will prove all the skeptics wrong. I'm rooting for that evidence to be to be discovered...even though it will only give me one more thing to be afraid of when camping alone in the woods. But it would be worth it to know that such a unique creature actually exists.

Eva i applaud you for tackling this controversial subject, which you dealt with in a sympathetic way, in that you did not make fun of the guy‘s who took you out into the woods…
For anyone to think that that Sasquatch is not real, I suggest that that you just watch once, the following: The Facts How to Hunt, Sasquatch Theories, My Bigfoot Sighting, all on UA-cam, where people have taken time to sent in their personal encounters, many having to keep the trauma of seeing these beings, for over 50 years, because of the threat of ridicule….Governments around the world are aware of these beings, who have often turned up at nuclear facilities, and the military are aware of them, as veterans recount being reassigned, and silenced after seeing them…
One of the reoccurring things which people say, is that the forest, becomes completely silent…Steve, from his The facts How to Hunt, on UA-cam, actually filmed one of these instances where the woods become devoid of any noise, and as an experienced woodsman and Hunter, it had freaked him out, in that he left the area immediately….
Again, I applaud you for tackling this sensitive subject, and I hope that you look deeper into this subject, to keep you safe, whilst rough camping. Sending you positives from Germany x
