Years ago i saw a lesson on youtube where the camera was overhead of the left hand . Wish more people would do it . I could pick it up instantly ! You channel is one of the best on here . Not busting your chops . Great lessons .
I feel I must compliment you on the way you present your lessons. Not only do you slow everything down & take it step by step, you also show different camera angles of you playing the lesson. I find this way very satisfying as I am a left handed guitarist & so many "instructors" just run through everything, I lot of times never telling me what note they are playing. eg: play the third string fourth fret. Try & decipher several notes one after another when your guitar is not only strung upside down but backwards. Why not just say play the 3rd fret on the G string. Would than not be a better way for all students because they now have to learn the names of the strings & be able to locate them quickly. Also when you have different camera angles like you have, I can clearly see where you have placed your fingers, thereby reducing a lot of guess work on my part. Thank you again for an informative lesson & a well presented one.

Hi Jon, thanks for reminding me of the camera angles. I will keep that in mind. Just keep at the practice, take small steps, focus on the parts where you get stuck, and give it some special attention, and above all enjoy the progress ✌️🎸🌱

I like the way that you slowly and clearly demonstrate the turnarounds and even turn the guitar so that both hands can be viewed from the top of the neck playing the licks. The only thing that could be added to further enhance the quality of this video lesson is a tablature inset. Great lesson, thanks.
Not certain if you would call these "turnarounds" or "intros", semantics blah blah. In terms of tab its best to do it yourself I find you gain a deeper learning that way, there easy to follow.

Good on you for posting a free lesson video. However. These really ain't 'Robert Johnson turnarounds'. #3 is closest to something RJ might have played but you have the rhythm completely wrong, mate. All the others, although completely ok turnarounds are nowhere near Robert Johnson's style. Can I humbly suggest if you are going to call your video "Robert Johnson style blues turnarounds" that you actually teach Robert Johnson turnarounds - or maybe just remove his name from the title. Otherwise you are kind of spreading misinformation.

Thanks Sam, I appreciate that. 😊🙏
I find a similarity with flamenco music. In flamenco is used 'falsetas' as a liking riff between verse and verse, as a turnaround in blues
Cool! 😃👌
Robert used the "flatted7 walk down" in all tunings: Standard, open E, open A-- nice lesson

what a great lesson. Thanks so much!
last one #5 ... is purty funkadelic ... like the resolution to E7 (D on the B string) followed by the 2 octave final notes... sounds cosmic...
Hi Roger, Robert Johnson's music is cosmic in every sense of the word. 😉👊🎸🔥
Quite a bit of dna on that fretboard, to go with the blood, sweat, and tears...Ahh, the blues.

What is the key of the 5th turnaround, doesn't sound like E key

Baby Taylor - Mahogany
Q marca é esse violão?
Hi Leo, it's a baby "Taylor" Guitar - Mahogany 😊👌
Cool video, now give back your son's guitar to him. 😆
hahahaha lmao
You left your guitar in the clothes dryer too long again.

He is explaining them wrong, mate. Does that not matter to you? Robert Johnson never played a single one of these turnarounds as played here.
