I was beyond excited to see this pop up in the ol' notifications. And lets just be honest for a hot second here, it did NOT disappoint. Absolutely crushed it lads. Real quick though, did the location and amount of items have anything to do with this season of Alone? The wife and I always pick 3 players each season and have a little friendly competition, I was so excited to see this location and setup I've already texted her to clear the schedule tonight and get the kids down early to watch this again. Is this a DIY version of that show? Did you set certain rules or a goal for yourselves? What is the exit plan, does the plane show up or are you walking out? You say you have no safety team, but are you carrying a PLB or a similar device? It would be really cool to know a bit more about how this adventure is set up! Different subject, but I'm curious how your Yukon cabin is doing. Did the issues there get resolved?

Because while I am having a grand time out there it ruins everyone else's week because they sit at home wondering if some lucky grizzly has finished lunch yet. I didn't want a two way satellite communication thingy because it kind of takes the solo and the backcountry out of solo backcountry adventures, so I got a PLB. Anyway, looking forward to next Sunday!
It wasn't a concern in the least, always look for moving water preferably. This trip no water was boiled at all before drinking, and no health issues came up because of it.
I like how no matter how long they havent eaten they still have not had any hangry outburst.
