I honestly feel like you are one of the most genuine people on UA-cam especially in this kind of stuff. I hope you continue to make content for many many years.
The best bit is when you said you were releasing the gopher . Your surviving skills are excellent , and the best , you respect nature . Keep it going .
I completely agree with the number one choice. That set line is awesome and adaptable. I have memorized that and built a couple smaller ones in my yard to get the concept settled in. Oh, and speaking of ideas from the 30 days, I also use your bow drill modification to help youngsters as well. They have a harder time with coordination and that extra weight helps them succeed before they get frustrated. Great series Greg keep em coming.
I you know what Ptarmigan eat, you can use a rat trap from the hardware store to catch them. Paint the business end of the wood floor (where the hammer strikes) with Dollar Store pancake syrup along with the bait pedal (that releases the hammer when touched) sprinkle cracked corn or other suitable bait onto the painted surfaces, scattering a little more cracked corn around it to increase visibility from the air, set the trap and check back every few hours....
After finding your channel I got more into survival stuff and a week later I started watching Alone. I Freaked out when I saw you in it. Anyway thanks for doing what you do, I think it's helped me to appreciate nature more and to appreciate what I have.
Awesome video as always Greg !! I love these traps ! It shows that you can get food while your busy making a camp 🏕 !! Take care and stay safe my friend!
Hey brother I have been doing survival challenges for 25 years and I have have watched all your videos and it make my day if you just said hello.. You remind me of my dad and you are my idol... Thanks so much for your videos...👍👍👍
Very informative. Missing the Ovens cast.. Always take good care of yourself Greg. Looking forward to watching your future adventures. Watching from Philippines. :)
Hi Greg. I'm from Australia. I love your videos, real stuff, no crap. I've watched most of your stuff & I don't comment on many because sometimes I don't see them for a year after they've been posted. Keep up the good work. I particularly like the videos you do with Zac Fowler, yo seem to get on well.
Greg, you just made my Friday night! You have one of the best channels on UA-cam! I have never missed an adventure of yours. Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge brother!
It’s always a good day when I see a ovens Rocky Mountain bushcraft video I always love watching your videos because you have so much knowledge to share And you deserve way more subs
i like what you"re doing!!!! As a fellow Canadian you make me laugh!!!Your traps and inventions make me think of Wile E.Coyote, keep it up!!!!Beep!!Beep!! cheers
Your an awesome fabricator love the fish trap the crab trap worked well, real NIce, All of the other traps were epic as well ,Your the man of traps and so patient at figuring out what is needed to make them all work love the size of fish your catching
after the log rolls it lights a match under the pan igniting a fire and a stick with salt shaker wabbles as the log rolls adding some much needed sodium onto the pan.
Hello Greg, thinking outside the box, opens many ideas. Well done man, i have used similar for fishing but not a tension trigger, i used a spring pole and weighted trigger. Cool man thanks for sharing.
@@jayscholl4193 seems Fowler’s team is prioritizing Zachs video, Cris gets 15 min. Vids And he’s doing lots of ad time too and zachs are half advertisements! Honestly I unsubscribed Fowler 2 wks ago. He’s not like he used to be!
You sharing the basics, the ideas, and even the most minor of comments is a treasure. It's more important than most people would or could imagine!! Something you might consider a simple comment on gained experience could be a statement that one day saves a life 🥹. Thank you sir 🫡
The fails and fine tuning are what makes these all amazing. Just showing the final traps and catch would be interesting, but not nearly as useful as the process used to reach the functional trap. Thanks for capturing all that and editing to perfectly to that I can just sit at my disk during a blizzard and watch. Thanks.
Man ur awesome as hell I was at damn it ... it's over Already u sir r a interesting person u could patent ur traps and other cool ass stuff and make millions of dollars keep it up buddy A Huge Fan IN DIXIE U. S. A. Names ROB.
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. I wanna know as much as possible because I fear I may have to survive in the wilderness a couple days at a time to gather food for my family the way things are going in America where I live and around the world is getting crazy and food shortages are already happening
The trap alone is genius...but just to show off he had to make it a trick shot by getting the fish in the pan. I love this guy
I honestly feel like you are one of the most genuine people on UA-cam especially in this kind of stuff. I hope you continue to make content for many many years.
