I always scrape up / bruise my forearm doing this one. Whatever engineer at Subaru thought this was an accaptable way to replace bulbs should be drummed out of the industry! 😂 Good video!

i have noticed my legacy from 2012 burns out bulbs about every 50,000 miles and it is how many hours bulbs are on for that kills them so jobs that have long days driving in the dark to work and driving home in the dark kill them more and bumpy roads some people drive country roads, and the vibration kills them.
my cap was a bear to unscrew so i put silicone grease on the rubber seal and it comes off a lot easier now.
the passenger side bulb can be easily changed by removing air intake box with two bolts to reach the bulb and you can reach arm in from fender opening it is way easier than the wheel well.
drivers' side can be reached by moving battery over but is not easy to reach from engine compartment you might want to get arm in from wheel well.
i used hella bulbs dirt cheap at under 5 bucks and they held up as well as original bulb but i am trying hella long life on one side and regular to see if it lasts much longer.

LoL.. probably best to wait until you have a bulb blow and you have to go in there anyway. Cheers!
