Thank you for your question. Yes it has held up to washing and drying very well. Here is a link to the step-by-step instructions with close up pictures houndhuggerdiy.com/no-knots-blanket Because of the way we're pulling the fabrics through each other it really locks them in place. Hope this helps!
I saw this method on another site and tried it, but it was a bit too much for my fingers due to CTS. I liked the look and found your method creates the same results. It seems to be much easier. I will be trying it out as I make blankets for an organization called Blessed Blankets Made With Love. Thanks so much.
Thank you for your question. You can really make the blanket any size, for this small blanket it was one yard of the print and one yard of the white fleece the width just depended on the size of the fabric bolt. The most important part is to decide what size you want your blanket to be and then add about 6 inches to both the length and width. The extra inches will become the fringe that borders the entire blanket. Here is a link to the step-by-step instructions houndhuggerdiy.com/no-knots-blanket Hopefully this is helpful!
Very easy. Very quick. Made one for my brother-in-law. I like it better than the one I made my sister years ago. Ruth. 8-27-2024
We're so glad you enjoyed making this style of blanket. I bet your brother-in-law is going to love it!
Thank you ladies, I had forgotten how to do this, I done one many many years ago.
I look forward to your tutorials 😊
You are so welcome! Have fun making some snuggly blankets.
I need to take my granddaughter to the fabric store to pick material and we can make this together. Thank you.
We would love to hear how they turn out!
Cute! Thank you for showing us how to do! But, how does it hold up in the wash? Does the fringe come undone? Seems like it would since it’s not tied.
