I drove this vehicle over 1,000 miles in all kinds of weather. The soul was very zippy on the highway and had a good grip on the road. It doesn't do well in deep snow. I wish Kia offered it in AWD. It does look weird but this is what taxis look like in London. The warranty is amazing. The rear seats fold flat, you can get a 55 inch TV in there with no issue's. The older Kias had a big theft issue and many recalls, this is no longer an issue in 2023 and beyond. Thanks for the review.
A terrific value for the money. Especially if you get the "S" trim level. Also, high hip point seating and a fairly low liftover height for the cargo hold is big plus for us over 60 folks. Lots of headroom and legroom too. Good review, Lauren!
Great vehicle, powertrain, cost, reliability and for what it has to offer! I have that 2023 Soul in Fusion Black exterior paint. It’s been 16 months so far, with 13K miles, and has been a pleasure driving it around. Perfect height getting in and out of the vehicle. Roomy so it’s great for tall people. Very comfortable and stylish with Cloth & SynTex seating materials. It’s stylish inside and out especially with available LEDs, and that’s what I love about it! The speaker lights paired with premium audio is one of my favorite optional features! It’s perfect for someone like myself since I like to blast on some music and drive at night! By the way, the sunroof is also available on EX trim prior to that model year. I get the demand for AWD, but I’m pretty sure the Soul is supposed to be fuel efficient and affordable for its class. I highly suggest checking out the Kia Seltos-it also has available speaker lights but at another level with Bose premium audio. You can really get something more out of it, except the fuel tank capacity being less which is probably my main dislike.
I love this car. It looks small on the outside but has tons of space on the inside. Drives well and is comfy and quiet. Good little car. The CVT works well and the engine power is okay as well.
Just to the right and below the shifter, on my 2021 Kia Soul Turbo, is the button for 'a Heated Steering' wheel ... Does this car have a Heated-Steering wheel ... ? You didn't mention if it did...!
Not enough N#, erm, power for me. Needs the 1.6T from last generation that made this still solid car quick AND fast. Great review by the Car Queen, Lauren. There's no one better.
great review, but, be honest , Lauren! you like the color because it matches up perfectly to contrast buffalo wing sauce......🤣 p.s. you can hear the band Deep Purple in the background singing ' my woman from buffalo ' 🤭🤗🤣
I can truly fix what's wrong with this otherwise good car. Toss in a 2.5T with a ZF8 transaxle and OVERLY beefy awd. Lower profile tires, koni struts, thicker anti sway bars. And watch the masses flock t9 this nice car with a lot of room. Actually, it's pretty nice as it is.

For years, the Soul was my favorite rental car. Comfortable straight forward controls, very comfy seats, plus cute. What is not to like?
We love our 2022 Kia Soul LX!

9:12 that's it! Point A to Point B. Outside sales in Upstate N.Y. and a '22 Soul is my office. It's been an excellent car.

A CVT rather than a preferred 6 or 8 speed automatic. Sad!
I like a Manuel trans

better yet, swap in the 2.0L turbo and transaxle ( 8 speed dual clutch) from the Kona N. yes, it fits....👺

I like the price
You didn't show the jack. I wanted to see it.

😂 it’s was fun but needs more power
4ith thumbs-up m, great, 2 box design
Power passenger seats and AWD given where I am would have me sold on this definitely
I have been a passenger in this car and the seats are hard. Uncomfortable for back problem.
Looks nice. But too many windows in the back for me. No privacy for peeing or sleeping in the back
Normal people don't live in their cars...or go to the bathroom in them.
🇺🇲🇮🇱☝️
They neutered the Soul. Time to discontinue it.

Don't get fooled by the 10,000 mile warranty or 100, 000 miles. You're never going to get any where near that many miles before it's gone.
