- I thin we're all tired of how expensive new cars are. And used cars. And Rolex watches. But there are some bargains out there, and the Kia Soul (in a stunning Neptune Blue-part of my Blue Period) is one of them. A compact, FWD SUV-ette, this is a nicely equipped little beast with surprisingly good interior room and a definite fun-to-drive factor. Best, of all, you get a lot for your money. Who knew?
Great review! I just bought my second KIA Soul GT (with technology package) and I love it. I've owned $95K+ Mercedes, Porches, and $70K+ trucks and the Soul is still one of my favorite vehicles. I'm not sure but, it's almost like most cars are designed from the outside in (let's make it look good first) but the Soul is almost like it was designed from the inside out (let's make it good for the driver and passengers first and see what it looks like in the end). Just my personal experience and belief after having owned so many vehicles. I find most people that have a negative feeling towards the KIA Soul have never been in one nor have they ever driven one. The Soul offers just as much technology as the more expensive cars/trucks I've owned; just a lot less expensive (no more $400 oil changes and $600 tire replacements). Great, honest review of a practical, inexpensive vehicle! Thanks! Eric
I love mine. Never thought I’d buy a Soul
It really looks fun to drive! Thanks for the review. May buy one this week! 😃
This vehicle is great for the mobility impaired. Huge doors, small size with a big interior, high hip points seating, and a nearly vertical hatch. Like the discussion of maintenance costs. Very well done video. New subscriber!
Thanks, and you make an excellent point about mobility & access. Great design for such a small vehicle.
The rear ventilation is piped in under the two front seats. Great video.
"The headlight is the window to the SOUL"😏
Great review good-work I was looking at this for a while. I might get it or go cheaper get the Kia Rio Hatchback.
Kia Rio hatch is going to be discontinued supposedly… :/
@@iamgiuseps I already know Kia Rio will be discontinue around my area their selling the rest of the batches for a good discount.
Great
Is the CVT a belt drive or a chain drive? A key factor for long-term durability.
Great question. If it's like most CVTs these days, it would be a steel-reinforced kevlar belt which should be quite durable. However, I'm not positive about this.
How to use phone in car
...vs. Hyundai Kona?
I would get the GT but add mudguards. Not expensive and very functional.
A mere $27 😅
