I am Getting a 1997 318ti Hatch; and This will Be My First Repair, We will have a New Regulator and Sliders Ready to Install, Hope There are No Other Major Issues; But Great Explanatory Video... Thanks and I will Let You Know What Happens This Week!
Hey bro I live in Houston Texas and we got hit by a hurricane. My car got flooded and the windows burnt out. I got a new window motor but when I plug it in. It won’t stop from rolling down. So I’m thinking it the computer but i can’t seem to locate it. I have a feeling it’s underneath the glove box

I have the same problem with my driver door i don't know how to regulate the sliders keeps falling down and the window moves front to back i think isn't normally but i can't find the right position... If you have some indication of how should be the pozition of the plastic sliders... I don't know what to do about this problem.... Thanks sorry for my bad English pace
Go to a car wreckers, you can get door cards and the trims for $45 AUD here in Australia Proud owner of an m43 b16 316i Compact :) Good luck with the trim and door card!!
I had a similar experience after "garage" sorted crooked window glass, glass fell into door and went to another better garage and fixed, this video very good for people who are engineering and repair minded and I am neither. Great video.
Unfortunately putting the clips in an on is probably the hardest part of the whole job which you neglected to do any sort of explanation other than just put the clips on doesn’t work that way other than that good video

I have the same car but mine is 4 door and it’s red also .. 5 speed
my mechanic couldnt fix it after he greased up everything, my window fell a week later...

In reality repairing one of these is nowhere near as easy as this video suggests.Believe me,I'm talking from experience with the same car!
