Jeez man, the amount of detail you explain and the care you do has inspired me to finally take on this task pretty neglected on my 328i. Patience is definitely key.
Can I get more information or a video on fixing the clips on the back of the panel at the very end of the video with metal and JB weld. I would really appreciate it. This is currently the problem I am running into. Love the videos. 1995 BMW 325i convertible.
Do you happen to know how to repair a door panel leather inlays on a 2008 bmw? I’ve removed the leather and brushed off the old orange foam stuff. I used contact cement on the rears but I should’ve used some kind of felt or foam bcuz it doesn’t look great and I probably can’t get it apart now. I’ve read felt will soak up the cement and the cement will melt foam? Not sure what to use.
I’m so happy for all this man, this is exactly what I’m going to do to mine, the entire interior, mostly myself if possible so this is soooo informative 🤙🏼
I wish the previous owner of my 93 e36 watched your videos.... he replaced both front door skins with drywall screws..... including this leather part that deglued... ill just have to get new skins.
Hey can you please share the name of the shop or vinyl you purchased the vinyl from to recover these panels? I’m finding it difficult to find a suitable material
Hey man so I’m having an issue with the top but in my situation the thing is completely jammed so even with the battery trick the top won’t go up if you have any idea of what it could be pls help me lmk I would really appreciate it

I just buttoned up my restored door panel following your directions to a tee. It's perfect. Thank you so much!
I like this video. It's pretty straightforward..
Such patient dude. You're amazing bro! 😊

So impressed. I happen to need to do this on my passenger side very soon. Hope my results are 9/10's as good as yours. Great video, thanks.

Fantastic job! You make this look way too easy 😉😉
Do you have any videos on how to remove the actual insert from the door card? I can't seem to get past this stage.
Do you have an episode where you fix the tabs?
Maybe use a hot bot next time to pre-stretch the vinyl so that the vinyl is almost completely shaped before the gluing process.
Looks great I like it

Did you also redo the big part of the door? I am thinking of doing that too but the openings for the compartments scare me a little
