Actor Johnny Depp is suing actress and ex-wife Amber Heard in Fairfax County Circuit Court over a December 2018 op-ed she wrote in The Washington Post describing herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” His lawyers say he was defamed by the article even though it never mentioned his name.
Depp has denied he ever struck Heard and says she was the abuser in the relationship. Heard has testified about more than a dozen separate instances of physical abuse she says she suffered at Depp’s hands.
Depp also disputed a claim made by Heard that Depp had nothing to do with getting her a role in the superhero blockbuster “Aquaman.” When Heard testified, she was clearly offended by a question from Depp’s lawyers insinuating Depp got her the role.
"Tell the world, Johnny Depp, tell them, I, Johnny Depp, a man, I am victim too of domestic violence, and see how many people believe or side with you.'' That he did, and not only did almost every single person believe him, but so did the jury. Justice served.
She had good reason to believe it, though. And until YEARS passed and the drip drip drip of evidence, she was right.

Anybody else notice after the verdict when Depps team started hugging, Amber's team was just sitting there then her lawyer glances over and sees them all hugging and she immediately gets Amber's team to start hugging.
Watch how Amber quickly left the courtroom too, her lawyer said in an interview the first thing Amber said outside the courtroom was how horrible she felt this will be for future abused women......... Her body language is saying something very different. Wouldn't surprise me if Amber had to defend herself against her lawyers outside the courtroom.

They mostly get away with lying and fraud because the legal system is designed by predators for predators and their predatory attorneys, not justice for victims in real life. This case is meant to intimidate vocal women in the long run, mostly protective parents.

"She looked very, very bad admitting to her abuse of Depp in her own words on tape!" She is an admitted abuser and the world heard it! I'm for Johnny D., compleltely, I'm a true survivor, heard did not have the charactristics of a victim, I kept an emergency bag in the car with a little stash of money, I had 2 young sons, I never knew what or when it was going to happen. Alcohol & drugs will destroy your life, & your family, you don't have to lie. My nose was broken, I had to go to the doctor, because it effected so many things, I ran into doorways, my neighbor came to see me for coffee, & had me in the car to the doctor right away.
