How you think this scanner will work for large objects like car parts?

I scanned a fairly large object for a customer (a model spaceship about 30 inches long) and it worked well. The manufacturer says the following: Work distance: 150-400mm. Single capture range: 200x100mm. Typical object sizes: 15-1500mm.

I wish we could give you an honest recommendation, but we have not tested the POP3 Scanner. Perhaps someone else who has tried both scanners will respond.
