    Hey y’all know how when you touch something sugary, like syrup, it’s sticky? That is because the molecules are forming tiny, weak bonds with the proteins in your skin. This is called glycation. However, with time in yourr body, sugar can form advanced glycation end products (AGEs) with the proteins in your body, including collagen. It’s the same chemical reaction that causes bread to become dark brittle toast, catalized when you put it in the toaster. Sugar ages you, your skin, and your joints.

      I got the Omnilux because it was endorsed by Dr Dray and they’ve been around since 2003 producing medical grade equipment. Although I would say this product at its’ price puts it at “consumer” grade. The mask shown here looks more comfortable, it’s rigid so it might last longer. The omnilux is very flexible which is typically not ideal with all the wires running through it.

      Celebrate who you are. Women have bought into the goal of perfection at all costs while not accepting that we can age gracefully. Working in an all-girls high school, young women are obsessed with beauty, feeding into depression, low self esteem, weight issues and only feel valued when they have a boyfriend. Self acceptions is lost. We have created a world of buying expensive products to change us. True beauty come from within, what we eat, movement, positive thoughts. A smile, great conversational skills, a compassionate heart, genuine, confidence, intelligence, critical thinking skills are some of the most beautiful things I see in my students. Personal care is important but not at the expense of teaching these women they are not good enough. The beauty industry are looking to make money, with little concern for the negative impact women are dealing with. Follow the money.

  • @WendyLemontree

    So a doctor suggested I take a collagen supplement when I got diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos years ago. And I take it, but sometimes I wonder what the point is. If my body makes defective collagen, will it really do anything to help by getting it to make even more? 😅 Anyway, don't have to worry about wrinkles here. I have seriously crepey skin, but when you have defective collagen that's too stretchy, it doesn't break, causing wrinkles it just keeps stretching. I'll be one of those saggy skinned old ladies that look like a doll like my mom and grandma, not all wrinkly. Lol

    Cattle exists and is raised to be slaughtered for their meat. That is the whole purpose for their existence. Don't be ridiculous saying that you can get protein or collagen from plants. The protein we need comes from meat. This is a site about facts, not feelings.

    • @sheenacouture7657
      @sheenacouture7657 15 днів тому +5

      No you silly Billy. Let me help. Protein is protein no matter it’s source. Plant protein comes with other benefits such as antioxidants and vitamins. Animal protein is a complete chain so the body can use it faster which can cause cells to divide before the body naturally terminates ones that are sick or cancerous. To get a complete protein from plants you need to combine. This slows aging. Animal protein comes with nitrates (to keep it red or else a corpse turns grey rather quickly) and cholesterol. Both of these age the body. Animal agriculture is also the number 1 cause of environmental destruction which will affect aging by increasing free radicals.
