    What area of the knee are we aiming to land with? I would think the patela would be easy to break, and the femur wouldn't land at the correct angle.

    I can never go over throwing knees at a heavybag. They always seem too hurt the knee cap.

      I get knee pain too. I throw them a lot in shadowboxing rounds to avoid that. You can also punch the bag hard and just touch with the knee. You wont be working power obviously but its still good to practice the motion, distance etc.

      I've been preety much doing the Bas Rutten workouts so the kicks come after the punches in most cases

    Thank you very much sir. If I may make a comment, it seems counterintuitive to stay flat-footed when trying to knee to the head. I suppose it's about balance but you would think getting up on the balls of your feet would give you extra height on the knee
