Great lesson. I’m only 4 yrs into my guitar journey but a buddy got me into Intervals 12 months in and helped me understand their importance… I haven’t looked back since. In year 2-3 I had friends who’d been playing for 10+ years that were amazed a DIYer was teaching them things they’d never heard of (like Harmonics) and explaining Modes as if they were the simplest thing (which they are). Master Intervals and the rest will fall into place.

@@miguellauandos1902 absolutely, thank you for the nice words. I will keep it up! Let me know if you have any specific questions or topics for future videos!
Another great lesson. This is actually my second time watching this all the way through. I find learning the intervals as patterns rather than the notes to be much more helpful. I still memorize the notes with cycle four, but my focus is more so on the intervals. The best guitarists, and musicians overall for that matter, seem to all refer to recognizing patterns. Recognizing intervals is such a big part of seeing those patterns. Man it takes a lot of time to get there, but I'm slowly finding how well worth the effort and time it is. I'm also finding ear training in combination with this is really beneficial too. Thanks Korey!
@@JRW66 absolutely, especially if you’re a visual learner patterns are really good way to memorize structures on the guitar! I’m glad the info is helping, keep up the good work!

definitely the best explanation I have seen. Thanks so much. Gonna have to watch it a couple of times or more to absorb it all.
