Thanks for watching! You can grab the free music theory e-book I mentioned right here: andrewclarkeguitar.com/p/the-guitarists-companion-keys-and-chords
A very important part of learning intervals is EAR TRAINING. We need to associate a song with each interval. For an example, I use “My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean” for a Major 6th. We need something for all 12. Search “associating songs with intervals”.
Thanks for putting the guitar nut at the left side which is the only way I can figure things out! I have often saved diagrams that show intervals on the same string and adjacent strings. Weird how the farther an interval is on same string, the closer it is on the next one. Such as with the 4th.
@@andrewclarkeguitar Thanks I also have a mental problem with flipping the guitar orientation in my Head Ed, Head Ed, sorry for the Cranberry reference.
You are certainly a swell fella. I can actually learn from your teachings without spacing out thanks to your clean presentation, concise information, dandy use of illation and diagrammatic bombastication! A solid foundation is the summation. Thanks for putting in the dedication to make learning feel like vacation. Sorry, that has never happened to me before.
Thank you young sir for taking the time to post all this useful content. There are a handful of you people that I defer to for skill building and such. Sleep well knowing that you did this good deed for humanity.

Totally! Realizing that is a big part of understanding the fretboard.
