Xperia U has dual core 1ghz processor compared to 800 mhz for miro. Xperia U also has a higher screen resolution, and a much higher pixel density (looks clearer. Because Xperia U has been out longer, it is same-ish price as xperia miro but is better in almost every way, so best bet is U. Unless of course you care about huge storage, because though U's is limited Miro has sd card slot (as far as i'm aware)

Xperia u is a good phone. I am using it since 6months and I have not encountered any problem yet. But I suggest not to upgrade it to ice cream sandwich as ur RAM will have problem. The only con is the Storage but u get the OTG usb cable where u can use a pendrive with this phone.

I have started gaining a lot of indepth knowledge about android but still have some doubts. one of them is about mali-400.this gpu can be found on xperia u,sola,p tooo galaxy s2 and even galaxy s3(even micromax funbook)..but still every phone gets a whole lot of different gpu scores(nenamark)..however i figured out that it is due to the no. of cores of the gpu..could u tell how we can come to know if the later is a single dual or quad gpu???? thanks

I know that this phone does not have a micro-sd slot but that is not a blunder cause this phone is meant for people who have other means to store data. For me i carry a laptop with me and so whatever i capture or record goes into my laptop. A phone is not a computer that you need to keep movie or video collection. Watch it on you laptop or desktop it is much better.
PLEASE CORRECT THE MISTAKES------ 1) This phone has 6GB internal storage with 4GB available for media (music,photos & videos) and 2GB for apps and games. 2) The number of apps and games are not limited to only 2GB as they can be moved to 4GB storage. 3) The front camera does not have video call ability only video chat

Hi ever since the ICS update on the xperia u i feel my phone is performing a little slower and even the battery life is reduced....i read on some forums that its very buggy, so is rooting a good option to fix such problems??

Try Sony Xperia go. It has waterproof, dustproof and it has micro SD card to expand storage up to 32GB.
good point but i think 2gb apps + 4 gb user would do just fine if you transfer biggo videos/hardly listen to music etc to a pendrive
