Im 12 years old and i got iPhone 4s last year and that phone is still with me. My dad bought me an Xperia P yesterday .
I own this phone and must say it has the best display in the smartphone category..heavy graphics games run smoothly bt the home screen lags sometimes..which is quiet disappointing..camera is great low light pics r pretty good and day light pics are mind blowing.. and about the battery life, it was really bad initially bt when I uninstalled McAfee antivirus it lasted about 1-1.5 days on fair usage at 20-30% brightness.. if u are planning to buy this phone go for it. u won't regret

Hi guys, I hv Xperia U of Sony, it's class phone in this budget, specially the display is amazing.
The only issue is with memory, which is fixed 4GB for user. If u can manage this flaw then buy it without any more delay.... I go shopping to buy normal phone but after watching this I can't control my self.

the Xperia P keyboard features the so-called Gesture input. It works the same as Swype..

This is the best money value phone of smartphone era!
actually htc sensation is discontinued...u get only the xe and xl models which are around 30k....u can actually get this phone (by bargaining )for around 22-23k....this is way better than the sensation cause the ram is768 mb in sensation as compared to 1 gb in this one....and the screen resolution is better.overall this also includes the nfc technology as well as the OS updates will be much faster on this one cause its a newer phone(hopefully)....cheers,hope this helped !

1. Does the screen have a yellowish tint (warm colour)
2. How good is the battery life? Does it last atleast 1 day for normal usage, with 2G on all day?

I can see Sony not even yet optimized there OS for performance, i have XPERIA Neo V, it was snappier when it runs with only stock apps but seems to becomes laggy when more apps are installed.
So i decided to root my device and done so many tweaks now its just run Fantabulous.
I can even bet no device up to 25K can beet my device performance.
So the conclusion is, its not just the device specification you have to look for its about how the OS optimizing your device for ultra performance.

How is the battery life on the XPERIA P ?? I heard that it packs the most power efficient processor (STE NOVATHOR U8500) and hence it packs a smaller battery to power it through...

This is good than any samsung phone in terms of camera and music also display wait for the ics and u will see its full potential =)

It actually fits your hand perfectly, the specs are more than enough for a smart phone.
About the XS, somewhat bigger, if u want to play games and only games, u go for XS otherwise XP is enough.
8 MP on XP is enough to take good clarity fotos.
plz suggest whether i should go for P,L or ION? my preference is camera and processing power...

Scratch P and L, ION is excellent,I have a ION its wonderful phone my cousin has L says that its similar to P. ION has 12 mpx camera and front facing has 1.3 mpx and it records 720 p videos. ION comes with ICS 4.0.4,but its upgradable on jelly bean.The point is you should buy ION. PEACE IMMA OUT
