If Sony did more marketing and increased their software update support they'd be golden. They keep headphone jacks and micro sd which is why they're always on my short list for a smartphone. The only other major flaw is the price.
Sony as a phone maker is still stuck in the pre-covid era. That explains all the available features that almost no other brand offers these days, and the software experience is still a travesty when some of the biggest Android phone makers are now promising many years of quality software and security updates with as little wait time as possible. Another problem they can't seem to fix is the pricing - their phones are always priced 1-2 tiers above every other phone with very similar specs, which means you will always find a better phone for the same money. At that point you'd really have to weigh how much you value the niche features Sony offers in exchange for that 1-2 tier above pricing.
100% Agree. It's the same with Sharp, (the only other Japanese phone brand who still sells phones outside Japan, although very limited), and the defunct LG phone brand, which of course did go down in the covid era, for good reasons. The hardware quality is usually top notch, with 3.5 mm headphone jacks and SD card support, but the software experience is lacking. Chinese brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, etc, do pay serious attention to the software experience on their phone nowadays, but do seem to copy Apple. It also means that the only non Chinese brand of android phones which is still readily available worldwide is Samsung, and that is just a sad state of affairs, since they have not offered any SD card support or 3.5 mm headphone jacks on their high-end phones for awhile now. Not that I personally care too much about where a brand is from, (I am still very happy with my Xiaomi) but some more choice in different non-chinese brands would great.
@@breaky73Chinese phones are also hit and miss. But the higher you go, the better treatment they usually give. My Poco X6 Pro has arse software but it's $100+ cheaper than the Galaxy A55 so the pain of missing the sd card slot was partially alleviated. China brands also treat China variants way differently than Global variants. Were it not for the extreme price to specs ratio, the feeling of being treated like a second class citizen would suck even more.
@@jiffonbuffo I have a Xiaomi 11T. I think your Poco has similar software right? Compared to my LG V60, the software on the Xiaomi is way more polished. The LG software looks from like 10 years ago. Of course LG doesn't make phones anymore so the comparison is not fair and slightly irrelevant at this point. Having said that, I am still to experience recent Sony and Sharp phones. Maybe it's not that bad
I personally owned this phone right now. I'm a Sony fan since Sony ericsson era, my country doesn't launched Sony phones anymore but somehow i managed to buy it from somewhere after a long process. Here's My Honest feedback. Heating: First of all the phone started heating the moment you turned on the device and turned on some features. After using the camera app for 5 to 10 minutes the heating gets severe that i had to leave in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to cool it down. Camera: The camera won't work due to over heating warning on the screen after using the camera for less than an hour. Need to cool down and restart so you can start taking photos again. And the same happens. As a camera pro and video pro phone there's no dedicated editing app. Fingerprint: The fingerprint option disappeared from settings after using the phone for few months, completed every possible updates but the fingerprint scanner wouldn't work. Also the phone lacks customisations such as themes and settings. Sound quality is good but very very low especially calling volume, can hardly hear the other person on the call. Battery: As long as the phone isn't used and kept somewhere the battery last for days but if the device is in function the battery drains every minute. ONLY GOD KNOWS WHY SUCH AN OVERPRICED PHONE HAS SO MUCH PROBLEM IN IT. I'm having anxiety already lol.
theres a chance the display will start getting green lines too. It did for my sony xperia 5 mark 2. 3 of us friends bought sony xperia 5 mark 2, for me display gave green lines and for other two the same fingerprint issues happened. I know it's an old device and all but it doesnt justify these issues.
I think a lot of people who are complaining about the software are overlooking one of the most important features of the Xperia - an unlockable bootloader. They're one of the 4(ish?) mainstream brands left that actually support custom roms
Not paying $1500 to do what the company should be doing. Customer roms were fine when phones were $400-500 and updates were sparse but in the 2020s it’s unacceptable at this price. It means that Sony is saving money by a. Not paying Google for license and b. Skimping on resources for producing updates. I’m not for helping these corporations save money.
@@superiortoall22@NeptuneSega sw can always be added, hw can't, no one else makes phones like Sony, I can't imagine anyone crying about customisation being so accessible while having an Android, iphones are perfect for y'all
@@topg2820 lol nice job on basically just destroying your own argument and reinforcing mine. Sony sure loves the unintelligent, y’all keep them afloat. Software is a continuous cost, to provide support, companies need to pay licensing fees to Google, on top of that, there needs to be a whole division of software and security engineers who modify that update or patch for specific models, all of that means costs for resources such as energy and other overhead. Hardware is literally the cheapest part of a phone, once you purchase the device there’s nothing else the company needs to do with hardware unless you go back to replace it which you probably won’t. Back to my original comment, I’m not paying $1500 to do the job that Sony should be doing in 2024. Every time you sheep say “I’ll just load a custom rom” the filthy rich CEOs just laugh all the way to the bank because they just saved millions on not supporting devices past two years. Customer Roms were cool in like 2014 when patches and updates weren’t pushed but for the sake of customization in 2024 because the company doesn’t support your $1500 phone? Nah, you can have that. And what are you? 12? Haven’t cared about UI customization for years.

no, it does not need betrer processing. If you want that, buy Samsung or any other phone. You pictures will look like any other Smartphone picture. If you want to take photos, you need tobdo it in RAW and do the processing manually in post. This is what this phone is about.
0:03 There is no dedicated quad DAC. Only one soldered on Qualcomm chip. Actually, the quality of wired sound is mediocre. But there Is a 3.5 Jack, so I guess, that’s more than we can desire nowadays(((😢
The problem is the phone is $1500 at launch more expensive than iPhone's Pro Max and Samsung's ultra, yet the software support is only 3 years, that's like Xiaomi $200 phone. It's not worth it.
It depends on what you need. There is nothing like cinema pro, no phone else can record in 21:9, you can use it as external monitor using HDMI, you don't need to buy a huge ssd because there is a sd card slot, HiRes audio capable, headphone jack with a great quality with a great digital/analog converter. HLS mode to bypass the battery when doing intense cpu work and many more enthusiast features. It is a phone only for enthusiasts. People who are not like that, will never understand this phone. Because they don't know and they don't care about all these features. But if you need them, only Xperia has them.

Never seen this device in person, but I much prefer the notchless, cutout-free front design. It just gives a much more uniform look, plus you get space for the notification LED, selfie camera & front facing speakers.
0:14 “reliable” finger print reader is not actually that reliable, just google Xperia fingerprint reader issue. For Years Sony can not or rather don’t bother to solve this problem.
I've been using an Xperia since day one (the Z series on through the 1 VI) and also upgrade every year as my personal device. It has everything i want, from the audio jack to the expandable storage, to brilliant camera if one takes the time to frame it - and of course clean Android experience.
I recently managed to pick up the Xperia 5 V, as a c grade with a few scratches, but nothing serious, (the current latest model in the 5 lineup, so far), for £385 from a fairly nearby CeX. Whilst it's not the most perfect device in the world, I love it nonetheless. As you mentioned, the performance, 3.5mm port, and SD card slot is well worth it if I'm honest. I'm definitely having to get used to the camera tuning again, but I've been able to get some truly stunning photos from older generations of the "modern" Xperia 5 lineup. Being able to have a slim, compact phone with a great battery, older features not seen on other devices anymore, and a pretty great looking screen makes it well worth grabbing and using, even with it's quirks. Regardless, great video as always :)
I purchased this phone but sold it because it lacked customization options, and I disliked the Google Photos app. The absence of a double-tap-to-screen-off feature and the inability to customize the lock screen were also dealbreakers for me.
It's close to vanilla Android, isn't it? With a little bit of effort in the initial stages, maybe you can very nicely customize a lot of things. You didn't have to give up on the phone for it. There are plenty of Launchers out there that can help you with the double tap to screen off and screen on, as well as the lock screen. I'm using MiUI, and those guys are very far away from a vanilla Android, that's why I'm struggling to customize anything because all these apps just break. Xiaomi have modified so many aspects of the core Android experience, and these customisation apps become very buggy.
Agree, Sony's UI is just too barebones for customisation. I could make up some of them with third party apps, but you can't get everything unless you have root.
I just bought the 1 mark V and it is awesome. I paid 750€ and it has been worth it so far. I upgraded from my 5 mark II which had an accident at a waterpark but I will be fixing it to keep as secondary. The main camera on the 1V is incredibly good, while the telephoto is a bit underwhelming and gimmicky... But everything else about this device, from display, to speaker, handling comfort and performance is great. Even though the battery life is not as good as the current generation, it last me a full day no problem.
I had a Sony phone (I think it was the Xperia Z) a while back and it was one of my favourites but the software support, limited models and the crazy pricing these days is why it isn't an option for me any more.
I had the Mark 4 last and despite mad price and awkwardness to find accessories like cases, screen protectors etc I loved the device and would still consider going back to it. HOWEVER Sony has a major issue not only witht he above issues but with their software as well. Despite the phone runing near stock android it has plutera of bugs that are just annoying. Some are random freezes/reboots/or just black screen until you plug in a charger in. Random app crashes, issues with their own special photo and video apps not really recording the way you want due to the phone refusing to do what you tell it. It feels like the hardware is top quality in terms of build, screen, cameras, speakers but the software is left to the side and berely fixed. I sold the phone in the end mainly due to the software issues and my failed attempts to fix it. I spend weeks looking into forums and discussions regarding them and the solution was "change the phone" or "it's just the sony touch nothing we can do about it". Sad really as theese phones if priced better, and have the software glutches ironed out...would be great
I'm using the Xperia 1 V1 now and its a brilliant phone and is equal to any top phone out now,i also still have this phone the mk 1V had it for two years and personally have had no trouble apart from the fingerprint sensor stopped working but found that no big deal as pin is nearly as fast, apart from a little overheating at the start which was cured with software updates i found it a great all round phone so I'll keep it as a second phone.
That phone is meant to be for content creator and photographer who want a manual camera like a real camera that's why sony doesn't put too much image processing like every flagship do this days
No photographer would pay $1500 for a phone when they already have an $4000-5000 camera. I know plenty of successful photographers and they don’t use this phone. It’s meant for professionals but the majority of people who bought it are those who think using it defines them as professionals.
@@gamingprofile5880 but why would a person spend another $1500 for that? Most will just end up buying an iPhone. Successful people don’t spend money on things that won’t help them
@@gamingprofile5880Why would they pay for this phone while a Samsung or an iphone does a way better job ? A smartphone isn't a camera so it shouldn't try to act like a camera with 100 "pro" features that are useless.
The flaw is the massive price for a phone that is seemingly from 2019. The screen bezels and the dull design is what puts me off from this phone. I love it Sony phones and my last was the Xperia 1 iii. But asking me to pay the same price for essentially the same phone is ridiculous, especially considering you can get a better eco system, aftermarket support, etc from devices from Samsung or Oppo/Oneplus and those phones are modern. Sony should drop the price to well below the S24 Ultra and undercut Samsung. Only THEN will this phone from the past suddenly become attractive.
What I dont like about Sony is. The green line will appear once it reach 2 years old. Say I'm lying. That's why resale value on this phone is not worth any money.
I had a Sony Xperia XZ3 back in 2019. Had always wanted to try a Sony phone, and I really liked some of their design philosophy, so I even went out and bought the international version which had two extra gig of RAM. However, the software experience, despite being nearly stock Android, was never that great and I always seemed to have one issue or another. Ended up switching to a Pixel 5 about 18 months later and the software was just so much better sorted. Even though the Sony had fantastic hardware (for the time), the software experience on the Pixel just blew it out of the water, and I've stuck with the Pixel lineup ever since (went to the Pixel 7 Pro two years later, and just got a Pixel 9 Pro a couple of weeks ago).
Yeah, different strokes for different folks. I have never used that phone you mentioned from 5 going on 6 years ago but I know the feeling. I used a Pixe 6 & 7a and they were easily the worst phones I've ever had. They overheated every morning during my commute. They overheated at night even when it was raining; leaving me stranded in the wrong part of town, they had poor cellular modems so they'd also drop signal during navigation or a call when on certain parts of the highway which none of my other older phones did. It forced me to carry a back up phone from 2017 for whenever it decided to randomly screw up. It also had very middling performance, thanks to the bad Samsmsung fabricated soc. So, I get it.
I checked that in China, even I thought that brand was leaving China, but surprisingly that also sells in China and it is like a middle range phone price.
I still think the 3.5mm audio jack is better for audio devices. Its just tougher and last longer than USB C, which goes loose after a while and plugs don't fit tight in the port as when new.
I have Xperia 1 II, and since my previous age-old phone has headphone jack, microsd card slot, I do not need to adjust myself. It was instant to use my media files right after setting it up since I only need to insert the card. I still get some sort of update, on google play system. And sony or google managed to update the apps, despite having android 12, so I can enjoy some a.i. features like the magic eraser.
I finaly upgraded from the xz2 to 1ii and i love it.... not every time am pleased by the manual camera controls, i sometimes wish there was a better auto cam.... and i straight hate the cinema pro app... i downloaded video pro so it's all good
I have one and do like it, I usually use my Sony mirrorless camera for photos , but for everyday photos I do miss my older pixel 4a, but new phones with headphone jacks and fingerprint readers are rare
I'm not too fond with the aspect ratio of the screen. But I love almost everything else about the Xperia. It's a shame that it's not widely available in my region, and it's very expensive for current generation models.
I have both the Xperia 1 III and 1IV. Both of the fingerprint sensor died. Battery life is meh to poor. Phone gets hot easily especially using the camera app. 1 IV was acting up at one point where it would constantly freeze and shut off even on standby/idle. It was already past its warranty so I couldn't send them in for RMA. I do like the features but all the issues that came with it broke me.
I tried the Xperia 1 V and just could not get on board paying £1300 for a phone whose screen I couldn’t see outside in winter, and was dimmer than my pixel 7a that cost £300. Just made me feel like it was a bad proposition and ended up returning it.
I'm using the midrange version, the Xperia 10 IV and I'm so satisfied with the device. Although, I'm not strong camera user so that's not an issue to me
I have a similar feeling. I actually made this my main phone and after using it for a few months and being relatively impressed with it. I briefly switched back to my S10+ and despite the S10+ being smaller, older, far less powerful and with far fewer features. The user experience was just on another level. I wish Sony focused on usability with their Xperia phones because the hardware and software is all there but usability is just in the toilet.
I love the form factor. I'm a long time OnePlus owner, but I just wish they'd give us something that was only 70mm wide, it makes SUCH a difference. I would have bought the Asus Zenfone IF they were going to bother to update it. So I went looking at the Sony and wouldn't you know it, they made the latest model (the 1 VI) bigger and wider.. *exhaustive sigh. I really think these manufacturers should stick with the 70mm width, even if they do make them tall like Sony, it just makes them so much more usable and pocket friendly.
I think one huge flaw is that they didn't add their amazing DAP technology for HiFi music into their phone... This could have also have been an audiophiles phone as well and they'd have had a better niche....
I can agree with almost perfect. I miraculously found one on marketplace near me here in AUS, it definitely has flaws but I love it and cant see myself with anything else for a while.
With such poor software support and super unique options, this phone would be perfect for a ROM. But after scrolling through the forums, it sounds like without the stock software, tons of the camera features are lost
Sony phones are hard to recommend in general due to price when it was brand new, and the software update lifecycle lasting for 2-3 years worth of Android version upgrade. I'm fine with 3 years but opting for 4-5 years of software support lifecycle would be better (or even better, 7 years of software updates) for an otherwise a very capable mobile photography powerhouse. I would opt for Sony if I am switching from my Redmi Note 10 Pro because I am extremely picky on my feature requirements, especially having a headphone jack. Xperia 1 VI would be my go-to choice if I have money to pay for or I just wait for it showing up in the used market in a year or two for an even lower price.
I returned an xperia 5 v. The thing was overheating, sound was worse than my old $150 phone, display was mid. Ended up getting a poco and unbloating it, it's much faster, lasts longer, better display, and with more storage ofc. Only thing that was so good about the xperia is the camera but that's all there is to it.
I owned the 1m4 and now the 1m5. I couldn't stand the overheating in the 1m4. But the cameras had little.processing and I actually liked that. The 1m5 is much better finished product but the odd time the video pro app would freeze. Overall, 1m5 is a keeper for me and no need to upgrade to 1m6. The headphone jack is great for using lav mics when recording or plugging it into my car and not having to fumble around with Bluetooth. May keep it until iphone 17...idk
I've always loved Sony phones and was eagerly waiting for Ryan's video. I plan to buy a second-hand Xperia, but it's challenging to find them in India since Sony hasn't sold their phones here in a long time.
I wonder why phone manufacturers these days doesn't have LED Notifications. I own a Redmi Note 4x and it has those 4 colors even though it was made on 2017. I wish phone these days will have that feature.
I'm such a big fan of sony. Ever since i want to have one. Last week i almost bought the 1 mark iii 2nd, but i chose a55. Because here in the Philippines we dont have sony service center here anymore. They don't sell their smartphones here anymore. That's why i couldn't risk it. Plus most sony's that are sold here are refurbished with low quality parts. But tbh I'd love to have one. Having sd card, notif led, headphone jack. Is a very win win to have for that price.

I think one of the most irritating things about Sony phones is the DRM key deletion upon bootloader unlocking. The lackluster software support could be circumvented with custom ROMs. Sony do allow you to easily unlock the bootloader and people do make custom ROMs for these phones, but losing all of the DRM keys upon unlocking the bootloader is such a hostile countermeasure against this very thing. It effectively blacklists all Sony phones from the attention of any potential tinkerers who may have considered them if custom ROMs were a viable option without this huge downside.
The markets that know better and want one can't get it, while the markets that only cared for regular day-to-day use has Xperia stock sitting on shelves. I could just walk into my local Sony dealer, ask for the Xperia 5 IV and the shopkeeper would be surprised this is his first Xperia IV phone ever sold since release. 🤷♂
> How do you mess this up? By giving it absurdly high price and sell it only in limited countries. Oh, also by not marketing it and not giving it software updates.
Just recently a few phone makes are starting to offer more effective levels of software support. Motorola (for many years one of the worst) is suddenly offering really impressive update duration and speed. However WILL they continue to DELIVER? Updates are the reason I mostly used Samsung for years- despite some annoying issues: like slow charging rates and bloated firmware (with Samsung versions of so many perfectly good Google applications). What I'm looking for next is good cameras, especially at the longer end plus plenty of on board storage with long support.
I wish Sony would work a little harder on their phones and make some stellar offerings that blow everyone else out of the water. They don't have to be high-end or ultra-high-end, but start with a really good midrange phone that has some slick Sony Software on it, and keep a high-end headphone jack and use the Walkman name for your music player and such.
I remember back in 2013 Sony was still in a competition with Samsung, and I was hyping their products when I got the Xperia Play. Just plain sad that they are not competing anymore.

You should have Android 13. I have the same phone with the 13 update. That is the last one that it will get even though so many owners have complained.
Don't get Sonys in General. They are bad. Design of Sony phones will make you biased. Also, iPhone have ugly design and it can do a lot of task I cant do on my Xperia 5 ii

As someone who used an LG v20 for a goodly while and then a Surface Duo someone complaining about their phone giving them too many updates is hilarious. I was lucky to get security updates ever with lg. And Microsoft never even did consistent monthly security updates. I'd love to have a phone who's software suite was updating regularly.
While I do agree with you I believe the update notifications hes getting is a software bug. He has already applied the update but its still telling him to update. I think he explained that poorly.
Looking for a smartphone with natural photos. iPhone takes warm and greeny colors, Pixel is better for the white that is white but sometimes purple and Sony that is the best smartphone camera ever. Natural colors. This phone should be the leader.
I have this phone and have been trying to contact Sony support for a while but cannot get a single response out of them. Really disappointed because I want more of this kind of phone on the market - but it seems doomed.
Not a fan of the Mk4 and also the Mk3 because of the chipset. Even with Sony's fanatical attention to battery life, they still couldn't tame the chipset's overheating mess. The Mk5 got things right, thanks in no small part to Qualcomm's superbly excellent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
I remember recommending an Xperia phone to my partner back in 2017 (I guess) due to me seeing nice reviews everywhere and to this day she remembers that as her worst phone ever. Never got to try one myself 😅
I have the Xperia 5ii. Love everything about it except the stupid defective Samsung Amoled display. Pink vertical lines appear randomly and stays there forever. Replacement screen were stupid expensive and they never fix the issue (which means the issue will comeback on the new screen). And there is no 3rd party screen available 😢.
So sad that Sony is still able to make amazing phones, but c'mon man, those retail prices at launch are really stupid. It just feels like they keep releasing phones that almost nobody will be able to buy. Love the Design, love the features (especially the headphone Jack and the Shutter Button), but Sony marketing strategies are their biggest flaw right now.
Sorry but its well worth the price. 1400 usd is fine for what the phone is. Phones with micro sd have to pay royalties, most other phones do not have a headphone jack, wxcellent manual cameras with real zoom are a rarity. Sony makes shit load of other stuff. They even make movie. So I guess they don't really care about selling phones.
If Sony did more marketing and increased their software update support they'd be golden. They keep headphone jacks and micro sd which is why they're always on my short list for a smartphone. The only other major flaw is the price.
Yeah they are expensive when new. They drop value on the second hand market like crazy though haha

Sony can provide software update?
As someone who bought the Xperia 1 III in October 2023, Sony phones are nice but they are harder to find on eBay
@@theryanthomas

Well as a former Sony phone user I also relate. I've had a Sony Xperia Z1. It had that terrible heating problem too.
theres a chance the display will start getting green lines too.

I'm not paying that price tag to be forced to go the community route by default. It should have great software support first.
Things Sony Mobiles Lacking of:
1. Proper marketing
2. Better processing for primary photos and videos
Im glad they arent doing that at all. Pixels look fake and the iphone cant compare. The hater in the video showed this off himself with his friend's work and explained that he doesnt want to put that much effort in.
sorry but thats just stigma, its tiring hearing it, i have the 1v and even my first gen 1 takes great pictures, its like, the low light shots, basic mode brightnes everythung up way too much and i hate it, its not what my eyes see, the marketing isnt an issue either i dont think, theres alot of people who review these, its the price (Defintely the price) and os updates 2years for a flagship is eh 4 at least
no, it does not need betrer processing. If you want that, buy Samsung or any other phone. You pictures will look like any other Smartphone picture. If you want to take photos, you need tobdo it in RAW and do the processing manually in post. This is what this phone is about.
What about a modern under display finger print scanner and a decent screen to size ratio
Longer software and security updates
@@ジキシンwell then you get a true camera, my cheap Canon Rebel T6 takes better picture than that phone at like a third of the price. I've been using an Xperia since day one (the Z series on through the 1 VI) and also upgrade every year as my personal device. It has everything i want, from the audio jack to the expandable storage, to brilliant camera if one takes the time to frame it - and of course clean Android experience.
I did like this phone but it overheated in summer while taking photos. Needed more update support.

Sad really as theese phones if priced better, and have the software glutches ironed out...would be great
No good proprietary app, selfie cam mirrored, samsung can save as previewed
I just got the new Xperia 10 VI a week ago. It's not the high end model but I really like the form factor.

Far form that price in Canada, like 1000$ CAD, when you can get the better 1 VI for 1400$ CAD
That's why resale value on this phone is not worth any money.
dude, the buzzcut is INSANE. You look so good with that cut.
Please Sony bring more phones in the market
Its just tougher and last longer than USB C, which goes loose after a while and plugs don't fit tight in the port as when new.
i still have xperia 1 mark 3 .. still loving it . although the software support already cut off.
Under £300 on Ebay? That don't sound right. It's listed on Amazon for $700-$900 used.
Didn’t the 4 have major over heating issues?
Peaceful sounds on every video of yours is like a therapy.
I'm not too fond with the aspect ratio of the screen. But I love almost everything else about the Xperia.
It's a shame that it's not widely available in my region, and it's very expensive for current generation models.
the deal breaker for me with this phone is the form factor, it feels like a tv remote where you have to view everything in landscape.
Is the battery life okay? I was told the snapdragon chip of that gen was not energy efficient.
May keep it until iphone 17...idk
the software is lackluster
I've always loved Sony phones and was eagerly waiting for Ryan's video. I plan to buy a second-hand Xperia, but it's challenging to find them in India since Sony hasn't sold their phones here in a long time.

I can't pay that much without a local warranty. Add import fees/taxes and final price doesn't justify the existence of my two fave features.
Problem is Sony jacks the price up crazy and doesnt offer on carriers for leasing or trade in deals.

By giving it absurdly high price and sell it only in limited countries. Oh, also by not marketing it and not giving it software updates.
The only phone i would buy if they sell it in my country!

Don't get Sonys in General. They are bad. Design of Sony phones will make you biased. Also, iPhone have ugly design and it can do a lot of task I cant do on my Xperia 5 ii
Just stay away from Sony. Unless if you use it as hobby. I get the design is appealing. But cmon man. Sony battery life is a joke
This could be the one phone for me. I don't really give a crap about the cameras. But the constant update could anoy me though. I'm there is a way to turn it off.
If the latest phone in the series were available in the US, it would be the perfect phone for me.
for price you have shown i will buy this phone but in me coutnry used are sold from 400£ to like 550£+ so for me is very NO
I have this phone and have been trying to contact Sony support for a while but cannot get a single response out of them.
Youre also paying for Sony's expertise and their name. If you want the quality youre going to have to put the money up.
@@orangeyellow-me1pz most people in the market have moved on to BT earphones/headphones and Sony has very lackluster software support compared to competition of the same price. If I'm paying that much, I would want my phone to have the longevity physically and software wise.
it has a snapdragon 8 gen 1
As an android user of many brands (even Chinese brands), Sony's bugs are the most and that truly affects daily usage.
Man, 2021-2022 was a rough time for smartphone chipsets wasnt it 😢
