Hoi Tom!! A great video and thank you very much for your great explanation and clear pronounication, really appreciate it!! You have got a new subscriber and i will follow you also on IG! Hartelijk bedankt Tom!!
We have that switch around for the first and second digit in german too and I hate it so much. Trips me up all the time. For the thousand thing, we only say the 19 hundred instead of 1 thousand 9 hundred if we talk about years.
Ah that's interesting. For years, in Dutch, anything before the 2000s is often said as if it's two separate numbers - 1910 would be nineteen ten instead of nineteen hundred ten, although the latter is used as well. Anything after 2000 is said like two thousand [insert year here]. Kinda weird, thinking about it now :p By the way, Norwegians use both systems I believe: single-and-double & doublesingle - 35, trettifem, fem og tretti
You are The Best, Tom ! Thank you so much
Thank you Tom! I am from UA and I can easily say that your videos are the best and funniest!
His eyes are sparkling

Earned my subscribe and like, love the explanation and quality of the video!
Dit was een heel goede uitleg, duidelijk en volledig maar toch kort. Dank je wel!
Super! Ik ben blij dat je hem nuttig vond ^^
I have the same number switch issue as an Arabic speaker. In Arabic we read numbers in the same order as in Dutch.
That's so cool! I had no idea :)
The look on my face when I saw Zevenhonderdachtenachtig must of been the most confused face ever 💀

what about numbers like 907, 205, 607? is there en?
906 would negenhonderdzes
thank god the cardinals are rather easy hahaha I was worried after seeing all that zevenhonderdachtentachtig (that took me like 10 minutes to say it)
The words become longer as the numbers become bigger 😅😅
Lesson on dutch sentence structure sometime pls i need help
I'm gonna have to really dive into some grammatical rules for this, but I'll see what I can come up with :)
Do we agree this guy is lovely?

Ok, so Dutch has no limit on the number of letters in a word. Check.
