@Nobody-su9km yeah...and at most a series is 6 races long. So you have to go grind out the rest of those levels in a bunch of single races or hopefully there is another series your chosen car is eligible for. Besides, what are you even talking about? It takes way more than 10 races to fully level a car. In the practical performance series I chose the Golf R. After completing the series and doing 3 rivals races with the car its only level 24..
@Nobody-su9km I guess you're just a pathetic little troll who needs to anonymously insult people on the internet to feel important. You're also obviously full of shit lol
If you're idling anyway then you should race the drivatars...20 laps on LeMans Old Mulsanne (take any track you want really), Drivatar difficulty at 3-4, set PI limit to the exact number of your car, club rules, GHOST BACKMARKERS (most important). This way, for about 20 car levels you'll gain ~150k credits aswell...the 20xp you occasionally get in rivals for a best section is negligibale at best. If your car has good handling try holding down your accelerate button..."rubberbanding" your controller is the only way on Xbox, but on PC it's way easier to change the controls so that the "↑"-key accelerates the car and weigh that key down with an object. This way you'll get good or even great segments regularly, but stay around for one lap to make sure your car doesn't exit the track at some turn (if it reenters the track, it doesn't matter...). A few fast cars have abysmal steering with assists turned on and will exit the track even without the weighted accelerate button (Porsche 917LH for example) in which case don't bother with technical tracks and go for an oval. Lastly if you use the keyboard method for accelerating, the key input will be nullified every time you enter the telemetry menu, so you have to lift and re-press the accelerate key every time you enter the menu. Overtake the AI on the first lap (literally shove your way through them and cut corners), gain a little distance to P2 and then turn on the assists...the average AI lap time (difficulty 3) on LeMans is 20-30s slower than your car but they might catch up on the mulsanne straight (because even with pressed accelerate button the throttle assist will not go full speed on the straight), so even if you passed all the cars before the straight just drive the first lap's straight yourself and turn on the assists right before the breaking zone at the end...at that point you should be safe
3:45 Just push down right on the D-Pad and bring up the friction menu and leave it there, then the car can race for as long as set it. It still going when I get up in the morning, or when I get back from work. On PC you could also set a macro to quickly tap a button every 5 minutes.
yeah you may be right about rivals giving just a little extra but in circuit race you can set the drivatars to 0 and enforce the lowest level of difficulty in terms of tire and fuel etc
Not just that but if you set it to club rules and then modify your fuel you can set it to 5% so you complete laps a bit faster, which can help with getting more left turns in for the sectors because you'll be a bit faster. If you have tire compounds (level 12 for every single car unless they start with it like touring cars) you can set it to softs and have no degradation. Also you can set backmarkers to be ghosts in Free Play so you won't get stuck behind slower cars and lap them. This will also give you more money than the Rivals method to buy more cars to grind out in this god awful progression system. I've been setting it to 3 hour timed races at one of the ovals and it's been pretty solid with going from 0-50 or at least something like 0-47.

Honestly the leveling system of the cars is absolutely doing my head in, I don’t understand why upgrades are locked behind me having to grind a car for hours to upgrade it, why can’t I use the credits I earn instead of having to sit there for hours upon hours just for one car to get to lvl 50 and then once it’s all leveled up I don’t want to drive it anymore 😂

You can have all 23 other ai cars on the track as long as you put braking at partially assisted. It will bump into the back of cars, they get out of the way, your car will pass them and you will brake for corners when it needs too.
Since the patch that came out this week, DXP and credit gains appear to be capped to 100,000 each when using this idle method. Before the patch I once ran the game idle for 18 hours - 2000 laps on the oval, netted me 647,000 DXP and 917,550 credits. Since the patch, I've done this method twice and it just now appears to be capped to 100,000, as I only earn 100,000 DXP and 100,000 credits.

does the extra overtake xp against ai make any difference? I haven't tested it, but it feels like a bunch more, and its super convenient if you go into accessibility in the blind driving settings and just turn off collisions
I've been having the game run on my laptop, controller wired, with friction details on screen. Screen turns off for power saving which has worked perfectly well. But now the game is bringing up the pause menu, have they changed something to how this works?
I think a per brand system could work. For example, if you drive a lot of Fords, all Ford's share car points, so there would be no difference between upgrading a mustang or f150 as long as you drive enough fords
i mean tbf it all happens naturally. You cant bring modded cars into most multiplayher events so its useless for that. It just seems pointless to worry about car level. I dont get why people are so worried about it.

A couple of extra things you can do that will save a little extra time is to set your fuel level as low as possible, and to still do the rubber band thing. Even though you don't have fuel or tire wear on in rivals, it still considers the weight of the fuel, so lowering it all the way will still be a little faster. And you still want to do the rubber band thing because assisted throttle doesn't fully mash the throttle. Having a rubber band on will be significantly faster over time.
Yep, and the people defending it are the reasons why it happened in the first place! I’m all for a little organic grind, but this system is fkn ridiculously bad.

@@zephyr9420 have a mouse or keyboard with a program that does macros like icue for corsair stuff and then google how or learn autohot keys and have it tap w
God i hate the level mechanic so much
I like how everyone is complaining about this games car leveling system like it's new. I played Forza Motorsports 3 and it had it. Not sure if any other had car leveling but it's not new.
if your on pc, get an auto-clicker and put it over the resume button it will auto resume the game
press down on Dpad... open telemetary. keeps the game running
Thank you for the tip. What about money? Do we take any? or only the car unlock level?
This will also gives you a good amount of credits and driver levels. You'll earn about 100,000 every hour or so.
I hit level 50 in 2 laps.. idk what happened but it did
Around the Indy Oval in Rivals?
Good suggestions
D-Pad down and select friction, than you do not worry the 15 minutes.
Maple Valley short is faster than an oval. You get two segments in 40 seconds compared to one.
I will say this as much as i hate this car level mess. I leveled my 69 fairlady and i will driving from stock to level 50 and tuning as i go did make me understand the nuances and strengths of that car every time added a part or tuned it. I see what they tried to do but i still hate that grind tl level each and every car
After the 2.0 update of today the telemetry trick is not working anymore?
I'm on xbox
Its fixed. Dosnt work after patch 2
I play one series in builder cup and my car is level 20+... I don't know why people say the leveling is too slow.
Just get on private multiplayer with a friend go to the longest track and mess around going back and fourth on the straight for like 15 minutes and it will level you up i think 6-7 levels or you can be on the same multiple and just pause the game and it will drive the car for you and never give you any notification just make sure your controller is plugged in and set it to 30 or 50 laps and go to bed lol
does the extra overtake xp against ai make any difference? I haven't tested it, but it feels like a bunch more, and its super convenient if you go into accessibility in the blind driving settings and just turn off collisions
thats pretty clever 🤔
I've been having the game run on my laptop, controller wired, with friction details on screen. Screen turns off for power saving which has worked perfectly well. But now the game is bringing up the pause menu, have they changed something to how this works?
I will stick to leveling the car the slow way.
I tried free play and max difficulty, just set drivatars to 0. Funny how you can play gt7 while leveling up cars in forza 😂
I've been recommending this already 😂
I gotta say this is ths worst possible system turn 10 could have ever come up with.
I think a per brand system could work. For example, if you drive a lot of Fords, all Ford's share car points, so there would be no difference between upgrading a mustang or f150 as long as you drive enough fords
@@cavejohnson5796 How about none of this fuck shit and let people drive and upgrade cars. There is no reason to insert another damn grind.
any method for PC gamers to have this game run in the background? everytime I alt-tab it pulls up the pause menu
Unfortunately since the new update the telemetry no long works so now I'm looking for a way to auto press my A button every 10 minutes
Connect xbox on smartphone, and use auto click in "B" (sorry for bad english)
How to make joystick not turned off every 15 min?
Plug it in
Open telemetry game will not pause then.. i run my console all night got 1.4mill CR
but on PC you cant tab out of the game and upens the pause manu :(
is there offset tuning for wheels?
I haven’t been able to figure out how if there is the option kinda odd that they would remove that feature I hate having massive wheel gaps🤮
Nope, track-width mods are gone. Gotta love it…. 😠
i mean tbf it all happens naturally. You cant bring modded cars into most multiplayher events so its useless for that. It just seems pointless to worry about car level. I dont get why people are so worried about it.
Please can you do a fire watch 100%
Its fixed. Dosnt work after patch 2
This game should’ve been much better than GT7
It IS?
It definitely is gt7 is ass
@@Tronnortlol.. I’ve always been for Forza and against GT7
but GT7 has absolutely destroyed MS! With Customisation alone..
@@KGEE-WeTheGees yeeees
is there any way to keep the game from automatically puasing when you tab out? i wantto have this running in the background while i play literally any other game instead of grinding this nonsense
If the game is Play anywhere you can play another game from your PC while Forza continues running from your console
What this tells me is to just play the game however i like
Gating the car upgrades is the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a racing game. Blatant grind grab.
Yep, and the people defending it are the reasons why it happened in the first place! I’m all for a little organic grind, but this system is fkn ridiculously bad.
Thank you turn 10 for giving us this hidden game mode lol
How do i make the prompt disappear on PC? I have my controller plugged in but its still showing every 15 minutes. 😔
bring up your telemetry my friend, no prompt until you click out of it again so you’re free to race AFK
telemetry is activated by pressing d-pad down
Thanks
you can just run a auto clicker for every 10 seconds works for me
Why does my driver continue to slam into the wall every lap, any idea?
Slow down, the car crashes because it is going too fast
@@Dielaproom I meant when I’m away from the controller with all assists on he can’t keep it off the wall
what if you use an autoclicker?
That's sad. The only other Forza i played fully was Motorsports 3 and I miss it. They need to rerelease 3 and 4 for the new consoles!
To stop the are you still playing every 15 mins just load up the telementary screen while racing stops the game asking
3 hours to max. level up. What A JOKE from turn 10!!!!
What's the fastest car around a track to get credits?!?! Doesn't it seem like the more laps completed, the more credits you get instead of XP?!?!
Do a speed glitch method, there are few videos how to do it, it's really easy. Works the same way as in FM7.
"I've tried everything to get around the 15 minutes....." Never opened telemetry lol
Crap with the new cp upgrade and lvl each car. Sticking to old forza 👍🏽
Has the xp farming method been nerfed with the recent patch? Gutted if so, there's no way I'll be getting the cheevo for 30 level 50 cars😢
Those cunts fixed the telemetry method, now it pauses even when you have telemetry on...
Doing it right now, can't say it's patched cause it's still working for me. Running at the Miami oval working like a charm
@@rockinrolla102 awesome, I was told it had been fixed but glad that's not the case, thanks
@@rockinrolla102 Yeah, it looks like it does work after all 🤔 Don't know why it paused for me the first time today. Anyway, Miami is better for this than Eaglerock Oval?
@@MartyKaydepends on the car I found that if the car is a faster class of car you're better off using Miami or Indy if it's slower then Eagle Rock would work better
The absolute state of things boys 😢
I love all the tips and tricks you have for us since years but is this what gaming has come to?
You let the game play itself which is less boring than playing it...?
Console players, if it's still asking you to reconnect your controller after AFK it's because newer controllers are programed that way. Finding an old controller + rubber banding the trigger + down on the d-pad opening the menu is what worked for me. 100% afk for forever.
just plug it into your console...
@@EXTIINCT_ doesn't matter if it's plugged in or not I've tested that. your controller will still turn off. Like I said it's only newer style controllers that do this. They're literally programmed to stop you from afk.
Do you know what model or year controller this started?
@@dsmhunter2949 I literally use my day 1 2013 launch controller for AFK stuff...
a free and easy way to stop the game asking if you are still there every 15 mins is to.
press down on the dpad to bring up the telemetry then right on the dpad to go to the friction screen
this is woz08
It doesn’t even take that long to level your car up without boosting.
Is it not quicker to pick a track that has a few corners? To earn more xp for segments etc? Seems slow to me going round these ovals
60 laps in 55 minutes, level 13
Maka making games boring for achievements 👌
This is the main reason I'm not buying Forza. I don't want forced RPG mechanics in a fucking racing game. I don't want to leave my game on to level something up. Its such a bullshit mechanic to get people to play more hours. I want to customize my car from earning a game currency to buy new upgrades because I have been successful in races.
Can you do another Easiest Xbox Game Pass Gamerscore video??
Have a few on the channel, but I’ll get a new and updated one out soon!
Thanks, I really appreciate it. 😊
This is the kinda tedium that makes modern gaming suck.
Artificial player retention, and it's very much by design. What will follow is "Pay-2-Not-Play", straight from the playbook of Ubisoft, MMOs, and mobile games.
The worst thing they’ve done is add this to unlock upgrades…I want to build cars for the fun of it but have to max them out to build them lmao…
Same man, I always had more fun building in Forza (any car game tbh) than anything else. I'd rather it be credits for upgrades, personally.
Too bad auto clicker doesnt work, changing camera every 5seconds still getting idle why?😂
I don't like the fact that they turned a game into a part time job. That is no fun at all.I will not support this franchise anymore
Did it on Miami and my rival was you lol 😂
Running my 500W consuming PC for 3 hours on pretty much max load for this stupid leveling system...**** that}
Might as well mine shitcoins if I want to waste away my GPU
