People commenting about never seeing someone drift in FM, when people have been drifting in FM since the original in 2005 and official drift mode/points have been in game since FM 2 or 3. I'm guessing a lot of the fan base of this YT channel were born a decade ago or something.

As a car guy I didn't expect anyone to drift in a racing game.... except Goosiest anyways. Tbh I would pick the Subaru bcz it is 4wd and should be pretty good for racing.
If this game is anything like the previous motorsports, although there's no visual 900 degree on the steering wheel; if you set steering to simulation it should adjust to you simulation steering wheel input more precise per every degree you turn the wheel.
When your new to this game with a wheel. Turn the dead zone of the wheel down to ‘0’, also turn the forcefeedback all the way up an turn sensitivity all the way up too, enjoy

Agreed, I haven’t played yet but people ignore all the massive improvements, only complaints from what I’ve seen is replay mode, inconsistent graphics and pc problems.

Note to game design companies if graphics cant be made much better then time to start focusing on the details like crash physics, fuel stop, letting people in and out of a car its shouldnt just be gta5 that doesnt let you get out of a car

If the wheels feels good from the start, you're one of the few lucky ones. Default settings are horrible for most wheels, and need adjusting, it didnt even detect my wheel, had to assign everything myself, and not still not able to use everything. For wheel, you need to have steering to simulation, and FoV needs to be bigger to be further away from the steering wheel
I also have a Thrustmaster TX (Same as his T300) and while it does feel alright by default (albeit way, way too heavy and dampened), it's still miles better with HokiHoshi's recommendations applied, steering set to simulation, and assists off.
@@Dephyrus It has almost zero crash physics because FM has legal agreements to never allow the cars to actually look "damaged" for all of their licensed cars/manufacturers. It's been an issue with FM since the beginning, look it up. Secondly, the actual physics of the game are OK at best and arcade feeling at worse, it's an arcade racer with it's toes dipped into sim racing. I've played every Forza game since release of original in 2005, the physics have always been lackluster and the crash models restrained due to legal licensing requirements.

You should try using drift cars next time, this game has cars like supra that you are able to use drift tires, change the car body, car engine, i think its going to be even better.
crazy to think FM7 came out in 2017 and it still held up against GT7 which came out in 2022. This game just blows everything out the water right now in terms of physics and realism and graphics.
Drifting fwd in the new Forza is easy and I am the proclaimed number one fwd drifter I can throw up tune later,you need to turn off self steer alignment
