    Oh wow 1m weight oil is way to much for the 3s cars , I use 30k on the front and 10k in the rear on my outcast , you generally want heavier in the front. Also tip for you, I went to harbor freight and bought a little magnetic parts tray for a couple of bucks for my screws and such when I’m wrenching so I stop loosing screws. Great video love to wrench!

    I had the same bearing failure on the rear diff of my Granite. I noticed some binding when I would manually spin the rear tires back and fourth because all the ball bearings had gotten into the planetary gears. Easy fix though! Love the channel!

    I been waiting 4 this video. Mine pulls right hard on concrete. It was left stock. I've checked the rear and it's fine. Now I guess I need to check the front. I may scoop some fluid out if it's all fine in there. Thanks for making this video.

    I so want a 3S Typhon. They seem to be such cool buggies and they seem to have enough ground clearance to be able to run in the grass and stuff where I live. About 5 acres of the land where I live gets mowed so it's not super tall.

    Ya these slipper clutches can give you a headache too. I've see a video of someone tightening the slipper where they like it then dropping a little bit of blue locktite in the rear and let it set for a day to prevent the slipper tensioner from loosening. Also gonna put thicker diff fluid to see if any difference. Took the rear apart and all was fine. But remembered today about the locktite to hold slipper. So will see if it will stop pulling to one side when accelerating. I know this is an older video, but waiting tor the one to see if you figured out the problem with yours. Thx

    Appreciate the video, new subscriber. Love how you do your videos and take the time to explain and mention details/tips as well as things to watch out for. I also have the typhon 3s, and was running good until today. I’m not sure if an esc issue or some gear issue...have twitchy steering but also no throttle which made me think I stripped a gear somewhere. However, I had my esc break off today where the two screws hold it down to the top of the lid but managed to get it back on using super glue on the eyelets where the screws go (did not glue the actual esc itself though). Anyway love the videos, keep them coming!

    • @BarstoneRC
      @BarstoneRC  3 роки тому +1

      I appreciate you subscribing and thanks for the kind comments, but I recently just had the same issue with one of my cars that I lost all throttle and the steering was running very fast and it was a bad ESC sending too much voltage to the servo and burning them up.
