Regular 2k primer with the use of bull dog before hand. About to go over this this week on the channel so stay tuned and make sure your notifications are on
so I sand it down fix all my body spots with dolphin glaze, then sand it smooth and use the bulldog so the primer will stick and then any certain kind of 2K primer. Then I sand the primer get it slick possibly wet sand and then I’m ready to paint with pretty much any paint will stick.
Man I enjoy watching your videos. Not like I’m going to do any of this but then again I would have never thought of trying to paint my trailer, but because of you I attempted it I completed it lol we won’t get in the how much sandpaper I had to use. But it did turn out well . Took me a week to get my garage cleaned 😢 sure glad I didn’t have to do any body work, I’d still be cleaning the garage, you make everything look easy. 👊🏻
I prefer to do structural repairs with plastic welding rods. There's no waiting for dry times and its a true weld and not just a glue relying on a mechanical bond. Do a good job with the welding and you many times won't need any spot putty after sanding. Best!
It's amazing how the adhesives bond so quickly and are so strong. What would you recommend on a fiberglass hood that has a spot rubbed almost through? Would Dolphin glaze be enough?
Awesome thanks. Would be amazing if you had alternative products for those of us who don’t have a shop & can’t afford nor need $99 gun, qty 36 disks or expensive 2 part epoxy we will only use once 😩
You can use the $20 harbor freight gun and be totally fine. Gun doesn’t make a good paint job. Any brand sand paper will work. And the epoxy is where I wouldn’t cheap on. But I do order mine on eBay now at discounted prices
I can not find the filler you used. You did a headlight repair on a golf cart. I cannot find it. I have very similar repair on my cart and I need the filler you used and the gun you used. HELP
Here’s the applicator. You can find knock offs for under $40 but I haven’t used one. Mines the 3m one. www.ebay.com/itm/282084190969?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=HYhA7SG_Qc2&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=tZqYCEgERMC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Man that’s awesome! Glad you learned something.
what primer do you use on golf cart bodies
Regular 2k primer with the use of bull dog before hand. About to go over this this week on the channel so stay tuned and make sure your notifications are on
What paint and clearcoat brand do you recommend? That’s not ridiculous on price but still have a good finish product.
@SteveCollins-y6z for customer work I use Omni 270. For cheap stuff like all the golf carts we are doing this week I use Vietek

Lol thanks man. But look at all the money you saved by doing the trailer yourself

As in a hole through it? Or a rock chip?
@The Paint & Paper Hustle the toolbox tipped over and was rubbing on the hood. It's not all the way through, it looks like just through the gell coat
Sounds like I’d fix it with gel coat or resign to keep strength
@@ThePaintPaperHustle thank you
You’re welcome
It got sold the one we fixed up last time I seen it had a 1000 cc motor and transmission with a small turbo
Wow
