Cool 😎 ! I think i remember Kieth building a solid wood buck mold to dolly it to fit a complex sheet metal section.

Maybe try shrinking the outer part of curve/bend to match the contour and weld the inner part to complete the “C” channel. As you stated, stretching makes the metal thinner, but the opposite is also true. Shrinking makes the metal thicker.

Hey man question for you why can’t you put a long rod in the back of the stretcher and shrinker about a foot long and weld your foot part out at the end for leverage

Dude shorten your pivot point on your foot lever and lengthen lever and you will increase the amount of pressure you can apply (think along the lines of a brake pedal ratio )

Hello, I bought this grinder yesterday, it's really a good tool with an amazing quality-price ratio! A little tip, I unscrewed the four screws on the grinding head and made a 1/4 turn to position the control button and the battery vertically, much more practical and balanced for cutting!

Nice to see they hold up in a commercial setting. I have the same one for the house and love it! Picks up A full size truck no sweat. I just wish they came with an 2-3”?extension piece for the lift pad.

Looking at this brand right now, your bags still holding air? I know my fist is closer to 4" and looks like your fist didn't quite fit plus that little bracket that sits over the piece that used to hit the bumpstop wasn't in yet and that took up some of it. Have you since tried to jack it up by the frame or hitch to see if it looks like it's gonna tear the bags? Even during normal driving one tire could dip into something and end up lower than your normal ride height.

We have found on the 30s 40s and early 50s the wheelbase could vary as much as 3/4 inch and bodies on the frame are off also

a good friend of mine went to an estate sale and walked into the garage because add said old tools well he walked in and saw a Snap ON tool box it was around 5 foot tall and about 4 foot wide but it had semi rounded corners that opened up and had small drawers inside so this tool box was like no other it was in perfect order not one thing out of place and it was put together like a puzzle every tool fit like a glove in its spot and you couldnt see the bottom paint in the drawers so every single tool was Snap On and the owner had in the bottom large drawer a folder with every receipt from day one it dated back in the 1923 it was fantastic to look through
