Nasrallah is an infamous name within the Palestinian expat community. I have to think Nash could have been providing information on his international connections.
That potential relationship with the intelligence community could've made Nash untouchable in SoCal.
If we look at the historical context,I think we can all agree that CIA protected sources have operated with impunity for generations. I believe Nash fits this mold perfectly, especially considering his true last name.

Not Correct about his early life and career in los angeles. You Really Believe Eddie Nash was able to buy those nightclubs( he owned 8 in total ) by selling Hot dogs ? He made his ENTIRE Net worth selling, smuggling, buying, brokering Narcotics. Plain and simple. The laws were different in the 1960's and 1970's and everyone became MILLIONAIRES. Also, jail time was 10 years Maximum for big cases and you served 7 years Maximum unlike today it's LIFE IN PRISON

  • @keithgraham6333

Launius never associated or worked with Nash. Neither party knew each other. The only connection was John Holmes, who was the go between. The Nash trials of 90 & 91 resulted from the testimony of Scott Thorson ( Liberace's Lover) Thorson was there right after the robbery had taken place. Thorson would testify he was at Nash's to pick up a pound of cocaine when he witnessed Greg Diles ( Nash's body guard) burst through the front door with Holmes by the back of the neck... At some point, a gun was put to Holmes head. Thorson claims to have overheard the whole thing and testified to that. Although the jury came back 11-1 to convict, the one juror hold out was an 18 yo who happened to be the younger sister of the Rolling 30's ( the crips ) gang member. This is where the bribe originated.

I believe the first time they tried to get in the back door someone else had locked it already. John holmes had to go back and unlock it again. Nash thought holmes' second visit was odd and that's why they immediately suspected it was holmes.

I recently read the book, “the Road Through Wonderland,” by Dawn Schiller, the former girlfriend of J. Holmes. I’ve read tons of true crime and this book really stands out for its depictions of the mind-numbing brutality that Schiller suffered at the hands of JH. It’s a truly disturbing book and I don’t say that lightly.
